Princey was on form in Dublin 2night - just in from the aftershow which was incredible too (highlights: Dolphin, Calhoun Sq., Peach)
NPGMC soundcheck was brilliant (Days O' Wild, The Ride, Empty Room & more ) & pretty well organised... I'll let someone else follow up with a detailed review - cos I am sooo tired -

There are some places that always get aftershows. Major cities like New York and Los Angeles will always get an aftershow. Los Angeles so far is the only city that got 2 aftershows.

I don't know all of the cities that are coming up on the tour, but I would say that a sure bet for an aftershow is Paris.

I know that Paris will get an aftershow, but it's not because he doesn't play the night after. He didn't play the night after Chicago and he still didn't play an aftershow.

I know - I was trying to establish pattern (it really is unpredictable)...Hamburg is Maceo's last night and there is a club there that hosted one in '88 that oddly enough has NOTHING listed on their schedule for 16.10. Just for fun my predictions are Hamburg, Stockholm, Paris and maybe last Rotterdam.

There is an afterparty for frankfurt it is confirmed and the place has a stage for people to play... Knowing that he played nothing from the 11th to the 13th and then he only plays the 15th ther eis gret probability of a princely appearance in the club thqt night would be real cool cuz i never saw him for an aftershow and as i am going there for the first time in germany to see prince (and) as a member... All of my life could be made!!!

just got back from Dublin, an experience i will never ever forget, front
row seats for the soundcheck and concert.
Then a 75 minute aftershow...he did Dublin up well, i will have a full and
detailed report on everything that happened in a couple of hours, including
detailed and accurate setlists for the soundcheck, concert and after that
club `Spirit` in Dublin on October 11th (am) 2002.

I took notes of everything as it happened, man i need sleep...but it was
worth it, my dream came true...Prince played "Empty Room" for me during the
soundcheck, and i sang the lyrics word for word as he looked down at me.

I was there and it was brill! Takumi gave me a plectrum and I got to shake Prince's hand at the aftershow

Fantastic time last night. The organisation was excellent all day yesterday, much better than the two London gigs i went to and no silly raffle tickets in sight. Was a bit pricey into the aftershow for guests tho'...50 euro.

It did say it was a Charity gig...any idea what the charity was?
