Tour Programme A Rip Off?

no no no!

The show was fantastic, but what about the concert programme? At £15 i thought it may have been a bit better and more detailed. £7 tops would have been more acceptable for what i got, anyhows its a keepsake from the show so nevermind!

Anyone else buy one and feel a bit short changed?

no no no!

Considering some if not all the Tour Programmes of the past, this one looked so cheap and of poor quality, that I didnt even bother getting it!!!
All other tour programmes had beautifull pics in, excellent writings and the overall presentations were of superior quality, but this one just reeked of cheapness!!

Why can't you remember that Prince is no longer part of the matrix.
Since he doesn't have a big, corrupt corporation backing him, he doesn't have the same financing to put into lots of shiny pictures for you to oooh and aaah at.
The show is fantastic and I'm sure the cost of the tour book didn't put you in the poor house.
I guess some people aren't happy unless they find something to complain about. sigh

Huh ?
That's even MORE reason why it should be cheaper as there's less cost involved in production.

"Prince is no longer part of the matrix" - hate to tell you this but that was a fictional movie, sorry to be the one to break the bad news !

Yeah it mau be cheap, but it's worth it for the simple token reminder of the event, particularly when in 50 years time society will look back at this tour and recognise it as the greatest ever, then you'll see my program at Southerby's going for a couple of mill'. Then you'll be crying. smile

It wouldn't have hurt to maybe print some Bio's on the band members instead of filling it with all that gobbledegook!

£15 was a little steep for what you got, but hey! it has a cool cover.rolleyes

What are you all talking about? I think it is the most beautiful tourbook of them all! Remember Parade, that one is plain ugly. Ánd the most expensive to get nowadays

Purple Rain's the rarest and most expensive, Diamonds & Pearls the cheapest and easiest to find.

On Ebay, Parade goes for about $75. Purple Rain does $15 max.
LoveSexy and D&P are the easiest to find.

But I'm talking Ebay here. It may depend on where you search.

I didn't bother buying one as I thought £15 was a complete rip. The person next to me had one, so I got to have a look and discover that, indeed, £15 would have been a rip.

Well I have them all now so don't search, I got Parade cheaply, was only Purple Rain which I questioned buying at the regular prices I saw it at.

Yeah Lovesexy & D&P still seem in print.
