The change of an afterparty where prince will do some more jamming like he did in the Marqee, is getting less, since there is a concert the next day!! | |

So what? In '88 there was a show the next day (In Rotterdam), in '95 there was a show the next day (In Ghent), in '98 there was a show the next day (In Brussel)... Neversin. O(+>NIИ<+)O

No, in 1998 there was a show in Brussels two days after, not the next day.
Also not to repeat what Uptown has written, but I also had the feeling at Nighttown (Rotterdam, 11/08/1998) that the superfunky dutch crowd was not switched on that night, and Prince decided to cut it short... | |

The aftershow might b in Nitetown but was'nt his Paradiso aftershow after Den Bosch? Paradiso rules!

But then again, won't the NPGMC members get the tix first? Yes, PAradiso was after Den Bosch, 2 great nights. But his 98 aftershows were in the same city as the regular show. Other than Nighttown or maybe De Doelen I can't think of any possible place to have an aftershow in Rotterdam. | |

Hmmm, ik betwijfel of Prince aanhaakt bij een onofficiele party, al is de lokatie nog zo voor de handliggend.
Gezien zijn wispelturigheid zal hij denk ik dan JUIST een andere lokatie zoeken... De Doelen is al geboekt (grote zaal), en dat is ook niet echt een lokatie voor een intieme afterparty lijkt me. Is normaliter ook geen personeel om tot de kleine uurtjes te tappen, laat staan een toiletjuffrouw 
Nighttown daarintegen is volgens de website-agenda niet geboekt... Paradiso heeft een 'We love 80's' party vanaf 24:00, is al wel voorverkoop voor geweest vanaf 25 september... Well, money buys U everything and nothing... Nog andere suggesties?? __________________________________________________

Hilton Kelder is an unofficial afterparty with no Prince involvement.
Not likely there will be an offcial aftershow/afterparty there, but it may be a nice alternative for those still hungry for The Funk. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Made some phonecalls yesterday and guess what...One guy of a venue in downtown Rotterdam refered to the little man before I even asked him... He said to call him back on tuesday, because previous arrangements there were made on the day of the show... keep guessing y'all...  __________________________________________________

Not necessarily so...He had to go abroad the next day after he played the Paradiso in '95 (I believe Belgium or Germany also..) So just keep crossing them fingers!!! __________________________________________________

Yes, but in 95 he stayed in his hotel in Holland, and came to play in Belgium. He returned to his hotel in Holland and came back to Belgium the next day to play the aftershow. So travel can't be the issue. | |
