Who is going to see Maceo on 22/10?

Was thinking of booking some tickets - just wanted to see who else on here was going?

I'm really tempted...

Though I can't commit to a "HELL YEAH" until I can see about securing the night (and probably the night before) off work. Hmmmm.

I'm tempted but I'm a bit worried I'll end up comparing it to a Prince aftershow and end up disappointed. Yes, I know I shouldn't do that.

Yes - you know you shouldn't do that! I thought it would be a good opportunity for us all to meet up again (and meet those we didn't get to meet at the Prince shows) and get some good music thrown in! I've texted my brother to see if he's up for it. If he says yes then we'll definitely go.

Can you guarantee an Indigo2 crowd that's really "up for it"? biggrin

I'm really "up for it"! Although George Clinton would be a good one too. And it's on a Saturday... I guess I'll do both! biggrin

Ta-DAH! Hello.

When I saw the flyer advertising future shows at the Indigo it was the George Clinton one in November that really caught my attention.

However; I'm definately up for going, especially if there are gonna be a few Org'ers there to meet to.

Really looking forward to the little meet later that Lovealotbare has arranged.

And as far as guaranteeing an atmosphere like the aftershows, its gonna be as good as you make it.

There's always a party going on in my head!!!

That's true but I also find it nice to feed off the vibes of the people around me. Ideally I'd love a show with everybody waving arms, jumping up and down and having a good old dance but I suppose that's the ideal and I can still enjoy a show if I don't get all of that.
Tickets are only £17.50 though so not that expensive.

also i was gona organise a prince / funk / clubnite for the day b4...
but now thinking that it would b fun to just do maceo and then the party after!

I'm also thinking the same 4 those going 2 George Clinton.... thats gona b a mad one, if the last time is anything 2 go by!!!

I don't recall? Do you have long hair and gave me a hug and a hello while I was outstanding outside Raan bar? That's the only person I met but didn't catch their name.

I saw Maceo twice last year and it was brilliant both times. The whole place was jumping for both gigs. Not sure if I'm coming this time but i'd recommend all others to go - you'll have a ball.

Also saw Clinton last year and again, a great gig - so Funky!

4 17.50 by 2 and booking fees it is not that xpensive....and this time wolfy n mrs wolfy is really going all out doing this VIP style....were getting the clippers down 2 the 02 n back 2 a very nice 4 star hotel in central london...and while at the 02 were gonna have a 5 course meal with a few bottles of french white wine....then enter the indigo and dance the night away with maceo n band....perhaps drinkin some vodka n orange n we can have a party with the rest of the funky fams....and the icing on the cake is that prince "might" show.

have 2 say it will be well worth every penny as maceo puts on a great show every time n he sure is funky.

wolfy loves yall....
