thought i would also add that when this happend my bro was not with them as they had all been split up at diff places in the indigo2, my bro noticed a fracas starting and said he saw prince notice it 2 whilst busting a solo, he says prince walked 2 the other side of the stage and jammed there, he took a look over at what was going on and noticed it was his m8 and wife!

I was standing near back of the dancefloor in the middle and to my left I noticed half way through the show a lot of pushing and a few people falling or being pushed to the floor, secuirty were there in no time and wasn't able to tell if it was a fight or if someone slipped on the floor.
I know there was quite a bit of attitude in the crowd last night.

Happened right in front of me but I couldn't tell what happened - there was just a surge of bodies and what I thought I was looking at first of all was two bouncers holding a guy to eject him but it wasn't, and then I guess the wife got the better of the guy and he went to the floor. All happened so fast though, and shifting your eyes from a lit stage to a dark crowd doesn't help. If I heard right, the account to the bouncers was that the one guy had hit what I assume was the wife, and therefore she was fighting back.
Mentioned it in the aftershow thread - I thought it took the bouncers too long to get there, if people on both sides hadn't tried to break it up it would've gone on a fair bit longer before they got there, and if others on both sides had joined in instead of trying to stop it things would've been a lot worse. They really needed one or two extra security guys, just standing at the back of the crowd throughout (they'd have caught one or two more people recording the show too...)

I noticed this fight too - we were a bit too far away to notice exactly what happend but saw a scuffle and then a bouncer charged me outta the way (HEY!!!) to get through, but he was a bit late
I have to say that it REALLY pisses me off when you've queued, waited and found yourself a good spot, stood there for ages and then some cheeky little shit comes along at the last minute and tries to stand in front of you!! Someone tried that with me last night and I told him to do one, grabbed hold of him and moved him back in the direction he came from - it's not something I'd normally do as I'm usually too polite but last night I was having none of it! And what is it with the 8ft tall people who insist on standing on the step behind the rail (the graded steps) rather than standing in front of the rail and down the step making it easier for other people to see?! Hell, they're still gonna see, they're fucking 8ft tall!!!! On the other hand I met some fantastic people in the area we were stood in - we met some gorgeous laydees from Brum who we had a great laugh with, they were really warm and welcoming and when they learnt that I hadn't seen him at an aftershow insisted that I got the best spot at the front so that I could see we sang together, laughed together and screamed together - it was fabulous! I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

hello wee jimmy
yes it was me who was in the fight along with the misses at it makes me really sad and angry (sad in the fact that i missed a good bit of the aftershow and angry at the fact of fighting at an aftershow)still the best prince night ive been to! the misses is covered in bruses and got her hair yanked and i got a sore head but we live to see another funky day hopefully very soon the bouncers at the indigo were really terrible 1 accused me of assaulting 1 of the men (well i did put had good reason too misses was taking serious shit off 1 guy)i asked where are the police then if i am getting accused of this. tried telling the bouncers exactly what happened straight after the fight they took me the misses and your bro to some room told us to wait came back told us they had been ejected from the arena and that we had to leave because of this accusation af assault. my exact words at this time was you are fu****g kiddin me felt as if the world was ending could not believe it (prince playing aftershow im getting tossed out for sticking up for wife ) the o2 staff are nothing to do with the indigo staff and they were quite sound even giving us details to make a complaint about it they say the indigo staff are terrible throwing people out of the indigo and leaving the o2 staff to get them out of o2 anyway i will keep be trying to forget about this incident in which was the best prince night i have ever been too see you soon jimmy

Is that the tit who stood on the steps of the stage shining his fuckin torch at everyone and generally getting in the sightline of EVERY ONE ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE BLOODY STAGE!!!!? He pissed me right off... He makes a better door than a window I can tell thee. I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

im not surprised by anything that happens in this country at a place ppl are supposed to have fun. i almost feel ashamed for foreigners visiting (almost all of whom seem to be pleasant ppl) who see this going on
I almost lost it at the 2nd aftershow - when grown men were shoulder barging women to get to the front of the stage - in hindsight im glad Prince didnt play that night

It's disgraceful isn't it? I don't think that Prince was very impressed when he saw that fight - he went and sat down on and just strummed a few chords until it was over...
I have to say that on the whole, pretty much everyone I spoke to was fantastic and I met some great people. The problem starts when people can't hold their drink I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

Heres my story
Some folks tried to push past us & even knocked my friend over at the start of the night. Some folks did & said sorry once they were in front but didnt move!! Also the girls from Ireland with the flag. Sorry, but you werent getting past, we waited for a place & were lucky when some girls left & we moved forward. You got your flag onstage anyway! I was stage right dancing away with my friend & about half way through the night some woman to the diagonal right of me turned & screamed at me to stop poking her!!! (I had a bit of a gap as it was hard to see the stage due to the security guy sitting on the step so i wasnt that close to her) i was gobsmacked & really hurt & sure it wasnt me, although the woman behind her wasnt dancing, she was jammed up against folk on either side. if i did it really wasnt intentional! Suddenly the woman next to me (behind her) burst into life & danced up close & hard, all elbows & hips. Perhaps it was the only song she liked all night ! I think she also came with the following man.... Prior to this I had an empty beer glass that i tried to reach over to put on the ledge at the right (just out of reach)instead of throwing on the floor, this man grabbed it & crushed it one handed while giving me the look of death, sorry just thought the ledge was better than the floor & slipping on it. Next time the floor is best! If i offended anyone then i am truly sorry i was just having the best night of my life & extremely excited dancing, singing & cheering at the stage. The people standing didnt show any emotion that they were enjoying the show and didnt even stay for his return at the end. Perhaps i pissed them off? Sorry but i was having a ball & standing still would have been impossible! Without restraint, there’d be no hesitation!

Everyone says it was someone else!
Why doesn't everyone chill, and step back a few metres. The show is a lot more enjoyable than the constant tustle and shoulder barging. I just park my 6' 2" frame further back.....on the raised section of course... .

i sure did enjoy it & can handle the squash & bunp & grind of a crowd & sometimes that is a great part of the atmosphere.
I just dont get it with folks that get so miffed in these situations. Your in a crowd so get on with it, or get out! However Im sure the pushing forward on the 21st will get nasty at some point. Without restraint, there’d be no hesitation!

I sure hope it doesn't!!...I'd like to think the only people at the aftershow on the 21st will be true Prince fans as it reckon its going to be a hell of a show. If that's the case I think everyone will be respectful to everyone else... ..that having been said, you always get at least one w*nker in these places, it is the UK afterall! www.filmsfilmsfilms.co.uk - The internet's best movie site!

I was on Kings Row fow the 18th. Was worth every bit of the added cost to avoid all the BS on the floor and ENJOY P's performance. Was on the floor for his no-show on the 17th. Couldnt even move my arms it was so crowded and squeezed. Can only imaging it would have been even worse if Prince had performed.

I know that everybody wants to see Prince at the aftershows and once they get their good place on the floor they don't want to move but I was about three "rows" back from the front with my friend and at one point during the aftershow she went to the toilet. However, when she tried to join me back where we were originally standing together, nobody would let her through the crowd and she had to stand at the back on her own. Please people - do chill a bit - if we try to get past you it's not necessarily to blag our way through to the front. Also, would the tall people please let us little ones have a look? I spent most of Saturday's aftershow peeking between heads of tall people. As I said, we all want to see Prince and if you put a 6 foot person and a 5 foot person one in front of the other, if the taller person stands in front of the short one, then only the tall one is going to see. However, if the small person stands in front of the tall one, then we both get to see!

They are lovely until the show scrum begins. Now I enjoy the shows much more, being 15 feet back with a beer in hand, without the worry of my bladder exploding, trying to hold it in for 5 hours for fear of losing my space. I also think tall people should be more considerate. I'm 6' 2", so I don't mind moving back a bit and letting shorter people in front. On Saturday, I offered to swap my seat with three short women standing/sitting behind me. They declined....but I did get my bum pinched a couple of times, so I suppose thats a bonus! .
