If you go over to Maceo Parker's website and click on "Schools In" on the main page, you can hear a few snippets from one of Maceo's albums. The music will sound familiar to anyone who was lucky enough to experience one of Prince's funkier aftershows - check out the musicians names

I don't think Prince will play but I maybe one or two of the NPG may put in a guest appearance.. who knows?

I got tickets a while ago for this gig. Not sure if P will play.... but he has played at other people's gigs and stayed in the background on guitar....

Would be fantastic if he did! But I guess it would sort of steal Maceo's thunder....

Maceo is continually on tour - I saw him and his band in Glasgow last year at a venue called "oran Mor" - they really were excellent in their own right! Well worth the trip whether Prince appears or not!

I'm guessing no for many reasons. Hope he does for you but i wouldnt get my hopes up.

prince DID appear on stage with him ...BUT... omg he had really dirty scraggy jeans on and a ripped tshirt (i mean as if!!!) he hit one chord of the guitar and off he went!!!!! how bizzare was that?????


i hope people dont just buy tickets to the gig, thinking that prince might make that ever elusive appearance though....

unlikely p will be at maceos, but maybe some of the band will be? who knows, ppl should only be going to see maceo, not coz theyre exepcting p to b there. altho that would be the icing on the cake! lol
