Hey folks

Glyn's genius glowstick idea for the 21st is going ahead. The crux of it is that we're hoping to light up hundreds of purple glowsticks all around the arena during Purple Rain.

To make this as affordable and hassle-free as possible for you, we're buying some purple 6" glowsticks in bulk and organising things so you can pick them up on the night.

Sounds like an excellent idea but do you guys need a back up plan if (a) he opens with Purple Rain or (b) he doesn't play it at all?!

Yup, glyn's had a bright (no pun intended) idea of how/when to hand them to people in your row. Much easier to deal with, and will avoid most of the concerns we have.

I have also posted a thread over at Housequake. By mistake I posted two threads (got a warning as well over it), the good news is that those threads were viewed over 500 times.

It is unfair if I keep bumping the Housequake thread so would ask other orgers to check out the thread. Just visit Housequake and click on the Prince Tour discussions, click on that and you will see the Thread.

Regarding this thread can you not ask prince.org to put it up as a sticky

What if he doesn't play Purple Rain until the very very very end in an encore? It seems a shame you won't have them out to wave about for the whole concert. Or is it better if he did it right at the end for dramatic effect?

Either way I'm so bleeping jealous I won't be there.

As requested by popelife I posted a similiar thread over at Housequake (2 in fact but one was an error which still got me a warning from Housequake for multiple postings!), the good news is that the threads have had over 600 views. Thankfully ThinkILoveU posted a reply and has kept it bumped up but I would ask fellow orgers who have also got a User id over at Housequake to post a couple of positive responses. The post from ThinkILoveU was brillant and was very much appreciated.

Lets hope the O2 is lit up in a purple glow on Friday night.

Fingers crossed that TM will release some last minute tickets.
