Why not Wembley? Because the sound is dreadful. And where were you sitting in the o2? Where I was (Lower Tiers) the sound was excellent for the size of the arena.

Well I've not been to the new Wembley so I don't know.

I was in block 103 I think. Lower tier, towards the back. It's not good when you have to hear the words before you know which song is being played.
The sound seemed good to start with but got worse as the night went on.
But at least some of you had good sound. Perhaps I was in teh unlucky spot.
I'd waited years to see Prince again (about 14 to be precise!), spent a fortune flying in, booking a hotel and all the rest of it.. and it was ruined by the poor sound quality - at least where I was sitting. It was a real shame.

What does Wembley Arena hold then? It can't be much less that 20,000. It feels bigger than the O2. I suppose the floor might be larger as there are fewer seats at the side.

Generally, for standing on the floor and the seats in the back and tiers, it's 12,500. IIRC, I think the capacity was bolstered by 500 after the revamp.

The likes of the O2, MEN, Kolnarena ie the new generation of arenas is that they have height whereas the older arenas such as Wembley, the NEC and to a lesser extent, Bercy in Paris, they are more length and less height.

Nottingham Arena is like that also, its an ice hockey arena so large floor and a small tier of seats round the floor.
