Need recommendation for DVD recorder to record my sky clip

Hi All,
I have my sky news clip and am willing to record as many DVDs as people need, but could any one recommend a good DVD recorder and best price etc. Plus need to get it on disc so we don't loose it - that would be a suicide moment!!
Have loved this summer He was fantastic and I wished I could see more of Him. Have gotten over the depression now, how about you?

Tesco do them cheap, think their about 60-70 quid.. any recorder will do the job tho, dont worry to much about the make as they are all essentialy the same inside ..

Thoroughly recommend the Panasonic range. They were the first retail dvd/hdd recorder in the UK and they've been best-buys ever since. I've just updated mine and got a 160GB hard drive with Freeview tuner. Very, very good quality recordings.

I recorded the Sky special directly on my Panasonic box, then for good measure recorded another copy from my Sky+ to the Panasonic too!
