Grown Man In Tears - Confess Here!!!

Im a 36 year old 6ft 5 grown man.

But I've got to confess to shedding a tear tonight during Purple Rain.
Is that really the last time we will here it live

Anyone else shed a tear?

Please confess all. Purge the emotion!

You will hear Purple Rain again. Have a look on the inside cover of the 'Rave un2 the year 2000' DVD it says at the bottom 'P.S. Prince plays 1999 4 the last time ever'. Perhaps it is just me but I swear he played that tonight!

the ENTIRE PIANO SET TONIGHT...

and tomorrow sometime when it hits me that there are no more shows..

oh, and walking out in to the arena, seeing that someone had taken the glowstick idea and ran with it.. really, for those of us there, i think we'll never forget.

Just recently every time a talk about Prince and the set's he has done, my wife says i always look like i am gonna cry..... and to be honest i feel like it.

I shead a liitle tear on the 9th Sept when he sang Adore. That was my wedding song, and unfortunatly my wife was at home.....I did ring her though, so we could both here him sing to US(and was just for us at that moment)...

actually, i think i need to cry, they say that tears hold chemicals similiar to opium, to soothe the pain and loss.

It is not about not seeing Prince play again, it is about the strange bonding amongst Prince fans, from all different walks of life, no class, no creeds, no colours, just wonderful stories and a sharing of something that is a gift to us all, i think it will be the inspiration to finish what I have started

I'm testifyin' right here.
During Shhh at the aftershow, I was weeping uncontrollably and when it kicked into All the Critics, I experienced some kind of death and rebirth in fire.

Opening night, Purple Rain to start. I was actually sobbing - not even a few discreet tears, 35 years old. Cried the next time I went too.

I nearly cried when he did All The Critics but only because I've never been able to stand that track and it brought back all the memories of it being a closer at one of the One Nite Alone shows I went to. I remember just standing there for ages after that show not quite believing that he was seriously ending on that tune, then looking around and seeing everyone else going mental. I just don't get it confused lol.
RIP sad

I spent the first 20 mins of the show trying not to cry (one of those wierd fixed smile/about to cry faces that you get). Then I was fine.. until he came on and did When You Were Mine, which is one of my favourite songs and I got far toooo chuffed about it.
