For the ticketless Friday.

I meant to say this before, but where we were (up in the gods admittedly) there were 4 empty seats in front of us and two to our right. Gave room to dance, but I couldn't stop thinking of the poor sods (like me) who'd been hitting the F5 key all week.

Did anyone else have empties near them or was it coincidence we had 2 no shows?

For me, this whole thing showed up the unfairness of the TM system.

God be with the days ( yeah I'm getting old!!!) when first come got the best seats and so on...

There must be another to beat the touts AND give everyone a fair chance.

i believe a lot of these tickets in the upper tiers were given away by 02 in competitions.. they had winners all over the country.

Of course not everyone who won was going to show up, hence empty seats ( i don't know how this applies to the last night, but i do know i was given tickets from this competition winners stash on the 16th after some sweet talking from one of the o2 angels.)

I had tickets for the main show a while ago, but despite my best efforts, failed to get aftershow tickets. Absolutely gutted too, especially after speaking to a drunken bloke at the hotel who, despite being one of the lucky ones to attend the aftershow, complained at being kept waiting before Prince came on, and then couldn't remember anything of the show, and left early. Makes my blood boil to think there were empty seats on the 21st, I spent days trying to get tickets!! Can you imagine being in pssession of those tickets and not using them, unbelievable!! The whole ticket system sucked, bring back the good old days of first come, first served!

There were also some regular seats empty too. I could see an entire row empty at the bottom of 117 I think.

There was about ten seats free in Block 111, I think they were used for o2 guests, plus a number of D list celebs from Corrie, BB, etc they arrived late and left early, I could hear one say to her fella that they were gonna give the aftershow a miss!
