Funk tune with dance beat b4 aftershow Anybody now what the funk tune with the house/dance beat played before the aftershow was. It was about 12.45 and went on for about 10 mins. Loved it. I think it was followed by a Bootsy Collins song.

It sounded very much in the Bootsy / P-Funk vein though.

Could it possibly be Hydraulic Pump (George Clinton) which they played lastnight? "Put a glide in your stride and a dip in your hip,
and come on up to the Mothership!"

I was pleased and surprised to hear a few tunes from P-Funk All Stars Urban Dancefloor Guerillas album from the early 80's last night! A rareley heard album. Mostly with good reason - but Catch a Keeper rocks!

That's the one! Thank you so much! Think it might have been a remix though. Just listened to it on Amazon and it's maybe a bit slower.

Nicky - I always used to use shazam when I was a clubber. Is / was a really good service. You dial 2 5 8 0 on your phone (the middle line of keys... easy to remember when a bit worse for wear) then dial and hold it up so it can hear the music and it listens for 30 secs or so. Then hang up and it texts you the song name and artist. If they can't identify it you don't get charged. Is about 50p I think. Is really cool.
