Words to describe the final aftershow? I've been searching for words to describe what I saw and heard tonight, but I've been having trouble.
Put simply: that was the finest gig it has ever been my privilege to see. Any other thoughts that might help me out of my inarticulacy would be gratefully appreciated... | |

Oh man... just huge. Onstage about 1.30am, off-stage, what 04.20? So many songs, such great playing, such a vibe. Talk about going out on a high.

I can't believe how lucky I was getting that aftershow ticket in the last minute. What a bitch to get home afterwards though, I missed the last night bus from the city centre! lol Got home at 7am. | |

The whole evening has been amazing...when Amy came on at the start of the set I was in tears - Prince went to get his shades because he had tears in his eyes. Later on he told us all to "take care of her because she's someone very special"...that was such a sweet thing to say..
My other highlights...7, The One (a quick reminder of Thursdays mainshow), Misty Blue.. I'm wasted and off to bed - only 3 hours sleep in last 48h - this reminds me of my trip to 3121 in Vegas  'til you're burnin' up | |

This was an ABSOLUTE MASTERCLASS. It has surpassed all previous aftershows. Prince and the band gave it EVERYTHING and we truly witnessed a legendary performance. | |

Prince's guitar playing throughout last night was off the hook! I can't think about Love is a losing game without choking about how beautiful Prince's solo was during that song. Amy seemed pretty much in awe as well. Anyone know if she stuck around to watch the rest of the show? | |

Been going to Prince aftershows for the best part of 20 yrs, but tonight still left me DUMBSTRUCK.
Awesome. Prince couldn't have given us a better thank you than that aftershow. I'm beyond SATISFIED. "Had to get off the boat so I could walk on water..." |

Last night's mammoth aftershow seemed to me like a combination of most of the other aftershows all rolled into one - with the exception of the 28th, of course.
I think if you went to the last two main shows and 28th Aug and last aftershows - you covered almost everything he did throughout the 'Tour'. What an amazing run of weeks... Tell him u live on a lilypad with a horny toad | |
