Disaster!!! There is a chance (a good chance) that I wont be able to go to the gig tomorrow night!!!
Train is booked. Hotel is booked. Ticket in hand. F*cking nightmare scenareo. I'm a bit pissed about the £200+ I've shelled out for the trip, but more importantly, I doubt I'll EVER see Prince in concert again. Imagine that!!! My memories from 01/8 and 07/8 are NOT comforting me at the moment. Rant over. Thanks for listening!!!

You have a ticket for the concert, a ticket for the train, and your hotel is booked. Why can't you go?!!!

Well....We're going on holiday on Saturday, meaning my wife has to work until she's prepared her works accounts for September (could take hours!!) and my 1 year old son isn't well, so I can't (and wouldn't anyway) take him to nursery. My train leaves at 11.30, so that's a write-off. My hope is that the missus finishes by 5 and I'll drive down.

Kids always manage to get ill at the most inopportune (is that a word??) moments! Am heading down tomorrow from Edinburgh airport so will be thinking about you! Fingers crossed! And if you do drive down, please take it easy!!! I know it's Prince but believe it or not there are more important things in life!!

I know it's expensive but why not fly from Edinburgh aiport to London City Airprort. City is 10 mins taxi away from the dome.
There's a 7pm-ish Air France flight..... Driving from Edinburgh to London is around 400 miles - that's a lot !

I used to take 4 hours from Darlington minimum!! Prince isn't a star- he's an event. NME Paolo Hewitt.

If you see me on the motorway tomorrow MAKE WAY!!!!!

Ever the optomist wow , it takes me 4 hours 2 get 2 manchester! go careful....or try n get the plane....its very good.... and less stressful, although very expensive (4 my current budget). always worth trying 2 get acheap flight anyhwere anytime is my philosophy, so if i wer u i'd get scouting 4 a flight. please don't risk urself by driving 2 london frm edinbrugh in 3 hours. unless u r take care, good luck n hope ur son gets better. n never say never...i'm sure u will c prince again... 2mrw or otherwise. If he isnt too bad let him infect all the other kids in nursery, they need to build up their immune system somehow! (can you tell i'm a child hater!!)
I feel sorry for your wife too with stress of work & your son sick & you stressing out. Better give her a Big Hug & tell her you luv her! Without restraint, there’d be no hesitation!

You're right about one thing, you probably will never have a chance to see Prince in concert again, this is historical.
