How were we ripped off? We paid nothing for it, it was free to the world. Sure i'd love full concert on HBO, but it was what it was and i was glad to see it. We got what was advertised. Now if we were promised a full concert in HD quality and paid for such, then I'd fell ripped off.

People were told 30 minutes, but we get just seven. We might as well just not have been showed the footage at all. It was what it was, you are absolutely right, but as a fan I have the right to feel ripped off.

I do not feel ripped off as such just let down (AGAIN), as I have previously posted the visuals where crap and the sound appalling and yes the time scale was misleading!

Not a particularly good move by Prince I doubt that it has won over any new fans or old ones for that matter and I am still not sure what it was all about in my view a big anti climax!

Like it or not people Prince has had his day, time to find a new false idol to worship!

AWJ

P.S.Forget the politics Prince give you loyal fans what they really want A full concert LIVE on one of the music channels with proper sound and visuals!

Oh well the moment has passed!

No, the woman with the afro (and the slammin' outfit) is Marva King. fro

Shelby is the woman with the hat and cape/wing like arm things. (She often wears clothing that drapes like that...)

(The Twinz are the ones wearing horrible outfits and doing a bad version of the "robot" and embarrassing cartwheels. lol)

If u wanna c the real "robot" u need 2 ask Morris Hayes!

Your absolutely right AWJ I should have rephrased "ripped off" to Let Down. That is exactly how I felt. Prince to some extent just can't relate as an artist anymore. Where is the raw music? The risky artist? The person who didn't give a flip who cared? When I say raw or risky I don't mean humping the stage, creating sexually explicit songs, or cursing up a storm. When I say those things I mean the music: Joy In Repetition, Sign of the Times, the whole Parade album, and even as recent as: Rave Un2. It's ashame because he doesn't have to be like all the other "old school acts". As an example I find U2's new output better than there old stuff, same with Madonna, and MJ's Invincible actually wasn't that bad. I say that to say that just because you get older doesn't mean you have to loose the fire. Obviously, Prince has to some extent.

I didn't think we were promised 30 mins. I'm sure the info I saw yesterday said that Prince would play 2 songs and these would be shown live on Sky News sometime between 8.30 and 9pm. That is the way live tv is. Especially news.

No, we weren't. We were promised two songs in a half hour slot. We got what we were promised!

Yeah maybe so, but I still think it was pretty pitiful. Just give the free show as I stated before...lol Sorry but I think it was not the best that could have been given. Just my opinion.

Crumbs, you guys couldn't have seen any of the aftershows then. As exciting and dynamic and experimental as he's ever been.

Yep it was much better than the shambolic SKY NEWS two song 7 mins Ill show the world who's still rocks even with crap visuals and shitty sound spectacle he blessed us with!

I really enjoyed it now if he could only find the wisdom to team up with VH1 and show a whole concert or even better The best bits of his time at the 02 that would be great, properly edited with all the trimmings!

Mmm Yummy!

AWJ

P.S. More Chelsea Rogers please, that is the Prince I remember and not even a sign of profanity see he can do it if he tries!

Sky news is a news channel eek

I have not seen the TV version yet, but what was on the website was awful quality, I saw better youtube clips last nite, which were taken with mobile phones, loved the one with the 21 on his back cool
If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.
