Me too. Flying tomorrow for the thursday shows. Staying over for both friday shows. Looking forward to it. Missed out on the (admittedly few) Aftershows that ever happened in Ireland so this will be my first Aftershow despite being an old fan.

He was at the POD after the Gold Experience shows.

Couldn't get in.

On the second night at The Point there was an anouncer 'inviting' people to party at the POD during the build up to the show. And when the guys came out to the barriers and started handing out the NPG tapes they asked why hardly any fans had turned up the night before only to be told that POD bouncers wouldn't let anyone in!

I'm sure some people got in but I couldn't go so these two aftershows are going to be my first.

Went to both. Amazing (of course). Bono sang The Cross with P in guitar in 95. The Spirit aftershow was better tho'. Calhoun Sq was a personal highlight.

yep..the show in the POD was fantastic....i will never forget walking towards the side entrance and out he gets from a limo..head to toe in brown/gold ensemble with big gold shades and cane....Bono was hammered and P was not impressed when he said ''DUBLIN....WELCOMES.....THE PRINCE''...Bono was then accompanied by his burly bouncers out of the place...P did a stage dive at the end...it was amazing....one of the best nights of my life 1 biggrin

Although Bono was in the crowd in the PoD before he got up on stage, I was standing beside him.

Spirit show was great. There was all kinds of mayhem trying to get in past the local bouncers using the NPGMC laminates. Then Prince's own security showed up, moved the local bouncers off to the side and let us in. The local fella didn't know what to do - Prince's security looked like the Secret Service - sharp suits and earpieces. In the club, the "boys" from Westlife were in the jacks putting on their make-up - weird. The show was amazing, definitely an aftershow highlight. I knew the manageress of Spirit at the time and she said the Spirit sound people did record the show but the tape never showed up anywhere. Anyone got it?

What was hos best Irish concert.
The only one I saw was Nude in Cork before I left for France. Not his best but, for me, his best version of Nothing Compares 2 U.
