Meeting beforehand on 21st if you're going alone? As per previous posts, I'll be going it alone to the mainshow on Fri 21st (long story, but a break-up has meant sacrificing my decent lower tier seats for a single upper tier one AND giving up my ticket to the aftershow - if you can help with the latter, please orgnote me!)
But enough moping - who else is going on their own on Friday and would like to meet beforehand for a drink? At least then we won't feel like we're spending One Nite Alone! It will be busy, but suggest meeting inside Slug & Lettuce bar inside the O2 at 7pm. If it's really busy, we'll need to find a way of recognising each other (don't seem to be able to get a photo up on here) so I'll work out what I'm wearing and post it here in a couple of days time. I'm up for meeting as, for the first time, I plan to get to the venue nice and early.
I don't actually have a ticket yet but I'll be getting one come hell or high water. I'd rather not pay a tout, but I probably will if it comes to it (not on the Org!!!), so here's hoping for some last-gasp Ticketmaster action. | |

Hi All,
I prefer the RAAN bar for meeting up. It never gets as busy as the other places in the O2 and has a better more relaxed atmosphere. Thoughts?? I will be in one of the Lord's stunning t-shirts  the guitar is the best instrument in the world! | |

OK - from what I've gathered it looks to be as follows:
4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn and then from there go en masse to The Pilot Inn. For those who can't get there that early, the RAAN bar inside the 02 at 7/7.30 p.m. And perhaps those who did make it to The Pilot Inn might make their way to the RAAN bar later to meet up with those who couldn't make it earlier. That's my understanding and sounds like a plan! | |
