The Pilot Inn, Custom House, The Travelodges, Ibis and novotels are all full!

Anyone got any advice as to where to stay?

Cheapish

http://www.premiertravelinn.com

London County Hall Travel Inn Capital,
County Hall, Belvedere Road , SE1 7PB

This is MUCH nicer than the others in the chain (generally to be avoided) and has purple carpet now too, very appropriate! You could get the boat back to it....
It's only mountains...

I'm in the same boat (hypothetically speaking, not the Clipper. Anyway...).

I'd kinda given up on staying near the dome as I'm looking for somewhere cheap (i.e. around the £50 mark). londontown.com is advertising a double room at the Hilton Docklands for £90 if that's any use to you?

That sounds a brilliant idea, but alas, I am going to the concert with my best make and he snores like hell, so I would have to lumber you with him too and I wouldn't wish that on anyone! lol

www.clarendonhotel.com in blackheath has rooms I believe. It's a short ride on the 108 bus from the 02. The bus also runs 24 hours so you can drink or dance to your hearts content in the bars after!!

Cheers for the info! My mate has now booked us in at the Ibis Stratford. No bad for me as I can drive straight down the M11.

Personally I liked the idea of getting the clipper!

That's quite reasonable... and only 30mins on the nightbuses.
