Advice needed re:aftershows, and thank you encirp98! Managed to get some downstairs aftershow tickets for the 20th from another lovely orger, and now need some advice on when to queue...
What is the best time to join the queue for Indigo2? This will be my one and only aftershow, so I want to get it right! Thank you sooo much for the tickets encirp98! '...ain't got no money, but honey I'm RICH on personality.'

The queue gets pretty big very quickly, you would need to be quick to get to the front and could miss the last of the main show. Best thing to do is go for a drink or food after the main show and go to the aftershow around 12 - 12.30, that way there's no queuing as it goes down very quickly once the doors open and you can still get a good place once inside. Enjoy!! Always cry 4 love never cry 4 pain

Hi funkstardelux !
Where every you go in the Indigo2 you get a good view and there's lots of space, the fun doesn't usually start until about 1am'ish, so there's lots of time to find a decent view, you can squeeze through to the crowd area at the front of the stage, but there's usually allot of people going from the front of the stage to bar/toilets and back !!! If you want to be right infront of the stage, you will have to be at the front of the queue at 22:30, I went for a drink after the main show when I went and joined the back of the queue, got in about 12:30 and had a few drinks, then me and friend got centre stage about 10 people back by some gentle manouvre's through the crowd, so we had a great view. Hope you enjoy the show !

yeah he doesn't come on til 1am or so.
No rush to get in a queue...go for a couple of drinks and a rest and then head in once doors open. Also worth saying that the place is nicely busy not absolutely jammed so u can get forward or dance in more space further back,...either way ur not far from the action

Is there anywhere reasonable at the O2 to get a snack and a drink after the main show before going in to the aftershow? The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to the presence of those who think they've found it

I'd advise eating before the main show, there's lots of reasonable places too eat for around £10-£15 per head in the O2 complex, I'd reccommend Nando's, had a nice meal there with free refill's while you wait for the arena doors to open !!! most of the restaurants are closing at 23:00 by the time you get there, a few bars are open later, but there quite restricted on how many they let in as people leave and I doubt if they server meals at the time.

Cheers, I plan to eat beforehand (will be a sad billy no mates where ever I go as I'm attending the concert on my own), but I was wondering if there was somewhere, such as Burger King, to grab a quick bite to eat after the main show to keep me going through the wee small hours. I may have to resort to a bagful of chocolate and cereal bars! The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to the presence of those who think they've found it

I don't remember any fast food joints open late in the O2, not much around the area either, its all roads, there is a shop in the tube station downstairs, they have loads of crisps/chocolate etc, I bought a couple of bottles of water from there after the mainshow to drink while waiting for the aftershow, gave up on queuing to get in the bars at 23:00.

I always eat in the Wasabi Restaurant which is quite close to the start of the main drag of restaurants on the left. You can get a beef/chicken/tofu curry with rice/noodels for about 4.50.

I'll be there alone too but trying to arrange for loners like us to be abel to meet for a drink beforehand. Interested? "Well, maybe not the ride..."

Yes, I'd be up for a meet up somewhere before the show. The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to the presence of those who think they've found it

We went for a couple of drinks at the Haab Bar after the main show on the 9th, so by around midnight the queue for Indigo had gone down and we got in pretty much straight away! Still managed to grab a drink and get on the dancefloor maybe around 3 or 4 people from the stage! "I'm so funky I can't even sleep with myself"... Prince 9th September aftershow party
