I've said it before and I'll say it again (and I'll spare you the comment I made to my ex-gf that they were "immensely talented girls" haha)....I LOVE THE GUITAR PLAYING RAISED LEG THING in Guitar.

One of the best moves I have EVER seen....excessive hair swishing and head shaking and general dancing averageness forgiven on this move alone for me

*altho maybe my powers of forgiveness are enhanced by my XY chromosones*

Yep, the rest of their dancing has been fine. It's just the bit at the start of Controversy that makes me wince. Like nails down a blackboard.

Having seen 5 shows so far, I couldn't be less impressed with these two, average dancers at best and they seem to get worse show by show, or maybe I just get more critical smile

I'd much rather watch Shelby and Marva do their thing

Isn't everybody missing the point of the Twinz a little here...Prince included them in the act because they're twinz, and so that everyone would talk about them.

It's just another facet to an amazing show...

A couple of nights, I've sat on a bench at the o2 and watched the thousands pour past for the exits...and have been amazed how many people I've overheard talking about them. The women hate them because they're skinny and young, and the guys don't want to like 'em but just can't get them out of their heads - as Kylie might say.

Let's have a bit of love for the twinz...don't worry they won't hurt u...etc!

They seem like nice girls to me. ;o)

Me too. I also think that their mock 'fight' at the microphone during the solo of 'Guitar' is hilarious, albeit unintentionally. I didn't really pay any attention to them apart from that.
It's been too long since you've had your ass kicked properly:

And all the more impressive in Manolos.

But, I'm still of the view that Kraftwerk impressions are an unusual interpretation of that opus. wink

They totally got in the way of the show, very irritating. I went to see Prince not two demented hair swishing, head banging twits, sorry twinz.

The Twinz are beyond hot!! sexy

I admit they are a bit out of sync with each other now and again but it's cute and looks a bit more spontaneous, trust me I've been to some RnB concerts that have the lamest over choreographed dancers and it is not cool.

The only people that I have heard say anything bad about them are women (SHOCK - woman bitches about sexy woman) and super critical guys who are probably within wifes earshot.

haha I was saying the exact same thing to my show companion earlier.

I love the fact that a lot of the female fans snarl whenever something involves "those bitches"....they are hot.

I'm a straight guy and I can see why girls find Prince hot, but I can definitely see why Prince has the Twinz flanking him,

I would.

And, I'd choose them as my dancers also wink

I'm female n i think they r fab!!! so T i agree they seem nice, I can't stand women who don't like girls 2ho dance well just coz their man is watching them, or coz they r jealous they r not them!
IMO its jealousy thats motivating alot of negative comments about the twinz.

They have high nrg nites and the not so (as all performers do), and it takes alot 4 people to dance so fab so perfectly all the time...
and I think they do very well,
and they r very sexy movers and have identity... they both move slightly different as dancers.

They r funky dancers and they do it well.... let them b, folks.

i like watching them and more women should...they may learn some good moves!!! lol
and of course the guys r drooling... why not..... the hetero guys gota have something to drool on when prince aint playing guitar!!"

lol

I personlly love the twins (Maya and Nandy).

Not only are they very beautiful women they are also super talented in what they do, they are constantly innovating their dance routines (doing things a little different or adding new things to every show), and have a few moves that "are their trademarks" (guitar ie.) Also I am fascinated by how in sych they are when dancing together.

In addition it probably does not hurt publicity to surround oneself with two supersexy twins ... and on stage they clearly add to the beauty of the show
cool

LOL I'm not jealous, I agree the Twinz are gorgeous, I'd be worried if my husba nd didn't find them attractive. It's just that really appreciate good dancers and the Twinz IMO are really not good dancers.

The 'robotic' dance the Twinz do at the start of Controversy is a cultural reference to the old skool era when the track was originally released.

I can't see it appealing to anyone under the age of 30.

Personally I love it and think the Twinz add a huge amount of excitement & entertainment value to the concerts.

I was sat next to some very dumpy overweight woman last night and could hear them occasionally bitch about them.

Sour grapes.... bored
