I've never stayed there, but I live not too far from there and it's a really nice hotel. Shouldn't be too hard getting to the venue from there either.

As a bit of local trivia, the church directly opposite is Terry Waite's (80's hostage) and it's right on top of a mass graveyard for the black death (hence the name) Nice eh?
