Is that for the 21st? If I didn't have tix for the 21st, I would pay £105 in the blink of an eye. That's not extortionate and more like the going rate for a regular ticket by any major international artist anyway. And it is Prince after all. I'd defo pay it for the last night.

Yes I have succumbed and bought 2 BLK 102 row D seats for the 21st, just do not believe tickets will pop up on TM in the usual way for this one. £105 still seems decent value for this show....compared to ebay.

I paid £75 each for 2 tickets for the final night yesterday....and thought that was reasonable!
Trouble is I need 4 tickets so going to have to keep trying ticketmaster anyway!

Is viagogo safe and reliable?

My friend booked her tickets with viagogo and there was a mix up on the night. As long as you've got balls to stand your ground, you'll be fine IF there are problems.
My friend got moved to better seats after 20 minutes of complaining, and got a full refund from viagogo. I'm sure others can post positive details about viagogo - and at least my friend got a refund....but I'm not sure I'd like to chance that hassle on the last night of the tour, especially as there probably won't be any spare seats to move to (just my guess).

I'd love to hear a few more details about this, as I've also bought for the 21st at VG. They're supposed to arrive tomorrow, but I'm a little nervous about it all (seeing as time is running out to come up with any alternatives). What was the mix-up about? Having said that, I'm relieved I bought when I did, as the price has gone up by £20 a ticket since yesterday.

I just noticed (15:45 GMT) that a lot of the tix for bk 111 and 102 that were on viagogo for 21/9 have disappeared, and that the price has gone up for the ones remaining (from £105 to £120). As far as I know there was no release of these seats on TM today (I've been trying....)
I'm still waiting for final confirmation on the seat I bought there Tuesday.

I'm still waiting for final confirmation on the seat I bought there Tuesday. Hi Daniel... that's not too encouraging. I got a confirmation email (and therefore my credit card was charged) just three or four hours after I bought mine yesterday. I'd give them a polite call if I were you, as they say you should receive confirmation within 24 hours. Of course, a confirmation email isn't the same thing as actually having genuine tickets in my hand. So while everything's going okay for me so far, I'm watching the situation very closely. Would still like to hear the nature of the "mixup" MellowOne's friend had. Just so I can be prepared.

I just called them and a very friendly lady said after checking that the seller had confirmed and I would receive the email in the next 2-3 hours... she also said "that's a great seat" when mentionning D2 row F... I guess I won't know for sure until I pick up the tix on Friday and I actually get to my seat but it's looking OK so far.

I gave up on TM and bought two row A of upper tier on ebay for £202 on Saturday, 1 1/2hrs later I got two lower tier tickets on TM. As soon as my ebay tickets arrive I'll be putting them straight back on with a buy it now price of £200 (I'm not trying to make money on them but I do have to try to get my money back), if you're willing to pay the same your welcome to them. Not sure what you'd pay on Viagogo for these though, you maybe able to get them cheaper on there or maybe better seats for a little bit more.

Don't VG post them out Special Delivery? I paid a £5 delivery fee, so I'm not expecting to have to pick mine up on the day. That idea makes me VERY nervous! "Oh, were you supposed to have block 111? Erm..." Hopefully this will all be settled tomorrow morning when the tix show up at my door (he says optimistically), and I can stop worrying. I'm taking my closest friends as a wedding present, and I daren't let them down.

Block 111 Row D are fantastic seats. When Prince comes over, you're so close you could smell him if you breathed in hard enough!
Sure 105 is triple FV but you're so close its immense I got more hits than Madonna's got kids!

Sure 105 is triple FV but you're so close its immense Yep, and one of my friends is quite little, so I reckoned she'd probably appreciate NOT being down on the floor. Like I stood any chance of getting floor seats anyway. On that reckoning, I thought 120 per ticket wasn't a bad deal. It's not every year there's an event like this. (Watch out for VG, because the price the tix are listed at is NOT the price you pay... they add a 10% booking fee, then £4.99 delivery, and then VAT on the booking and delivery!) Hi,
We bought two tix for 9/20 a month ago at viagogo. All went really smooth. Unfortunately, we also offered our own tickets (103/Z) but ViaGoGo couldn't arrange posting from the Netherlands to the UK... grrrr. Anyway, still offering two tickets for 9/20 section 103, row Z. We paid more than face value Anyone interested orgNote us. Marc.

I'm taking my closest friends as a wedding present, and I daren't let them down. I live in Paris, and my credit cards have a billing address there. Sometimes they will offer FedEx delivery abroad (for another £25!!) but for that ticket only pickup was available. I'm reasonably confident after speaking to them, and also when I spotted the ticket, there was only one in that section at that price, and it disappeared from the list as soon as I had placed the order, so it all looked pretty kosher...but I'll only really know on the day I guess!

A theory.
If viagogo do not sell the tickets I am going to assume that these are the one's that find their way back into Ticketmaster and are then put on sale on the day of the Concert. I have also noted that seatwave have very few tickets for Sunday's concert but are still selling tickets for Thursday (20th) and Friday (21st). If my theory is correct then we should not see any tickets for sale on TM for Sunday's show as viagogo are now sold out and seatwave have two tickets left. They still have lots of tickets for the 20th September. Mind you viagogo state that they are an 'online ticket exchange that allows people to buy and sell live event tickets in a safe and guaranteed way'. So my theory could also be completely wrong. Has anyone got any other thoughts on this. [Edited 9/13/07 15:22pm] Say hello to Podge

Viagogo was started by the same guy who started Stubhub here in the states. He sold Stubhub to Ebay and copied the system in Europe. Its an extremely secure and reliable service over here. The tickets offered belong to people that bought them (NOT Viagogo). Demand is probably outweighing supply so sellers are now increasing the price. The seller has to pay a 15% commission which drives up prices as well. The ticket seller does not get paid from Viagogo until you receive the ticket(s). I would say the odds of you not getting a ticket is pretty slim.

And another thing... Viagogo will charge your card and then the seller needs to respond as to whether the tickets are still avail for sale. If not you get refunded. If yes they then print out a shipping label that Viagogo can track to confirm shipment and delivery. Any tickets that dont sell will NOT be offered by TM. The "fan" that bought them will be stuck with them.

Thanks for that. Mind you they are selling 8 seats in the same row for the show on the 20th , can't see a fan having all those seats.

Yep, that's what I thought. Couldn't a proper agent that doesn't have their own online sales site simply use Viagogo to shift tickets? Then if they don't sell, they can return them to AEG. Either that or there is a tout somewhere that has found a jammy way to get their hands on a whole stretch of rows C and D. Either way, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to believe that there'll be any returns to TM for the 21st. Doesn't seem like anyone's having trouble selling them, even at these inflated prices.
