Can I start by saying a big thank you to Carrie and the moderators on here.

As you all know, I've asked Ben (the Boss) if we can have "prince.org" on the back of the T shirt design I posted on the "Final Night....our own T shirt?" thread, or whatever it was called.

The moderators have suggested, given that time is short, that I put up a thread that confirms that production of the T shirt is still awaiting permission to use the site name....but in the meantime, people confirm who would want me to get them one if permission is granted.

So here it is. While I have a list of people who have expressed interest already, may I suggest that interest is confirmed now and, subject to permission being granted, I'll get the order in on Monday and they should arrive, I hope, on Thursday?

People have suggested the fitted band T for the girls, and the ordinary T for the boys. You can see them on www.tshirtstudio.com and the proposed finished article linked in the "final night...our own T shirt thread" which I'll post on now to get it back up the list.

If we get permission, I'll put the money up front and take the risk that people honour their intentions on the final night (cos I'm nice like that).

So - amounts and sizes please, if Project T shirt is to be a winner.

This is a great idea, I'll have 1 mens Xl please. How will we sort out payment & collection etc. I won't be able to get to the arena much B4 7.

PS: Can I have the same design but on a black t-shirt? I don't wear white well

According to the printer's website, the digital printing technique they use is one of those that doesn't print the white bits, which wouldn't make a difference to our design. However, for that reason, they only do light coloured T shirts, so I'm afraid white it'll have to be as I can't find another printer that will do back and front at such a cheap price in a 2 day turnaround. Hi there, I like this idea, and also know of a good t-shirt printers in Greenwich. They have a quick turn around time too, and are flexible, very cheap too. I source and print merchandise as part of my job, so can help you with this if needed. The printers are just down the road from where I live too.

Just to throw a small spanner in the works, and im just playing devils advocat here....but as Prince seems to be suing everybody who even looks at him in recent days are you sur eyou are ok to use that picture on the back of the T-shirt?

Seriously, however, the picture is one that's freely available in the public domain and is, in fact, copyrighted to Associated Press. Besides that, given that this is a non-profit making exercise, there's nothing to sue for except the fact of the use of a picture - I'm not convinced privacy laws in those circumstances would support him in the UK - things would be different, of course, if we were using his image to make a profit.
