How bad is this, there are orgers selling tickets via ebay 4 a hige profit when us fans cant get tickets! U all know who u r! I even contacted the individuals concerned but they went down the im selling 2 give 2 charity route which is even worse. I hope the "charity" is registered and actually gets the money. Im all 4 giving 2 a registered charity not ppl's bank accounts.

Im really tempted to name names on this 1, I sold 2 x F3 front row tickets to a fellow orger for the last night at what I paid for them. I could have waited and sold them for "charity" once they were released to general sale as gold circle tickets (£235) each. But no they were sold for face values plus fees. Shame the "charity" missed out on this opportunity.

I got my tickets for the 21st from a fellow Orger as well, at face value, and I'm very grateful indeed to her. I think she was a little bummed that they are now going for stupid prices but I assured her there's no way I'm selling my tickets, and even if I did I would only do so for face value to another true fan....but the only thing that is going to stop me getting to the O2 on 21st is the end of the world!!!! (touch wood that's not gonna happen!)

I do think its out of order that there are people who have snapped up tickets with the sole intention of selling them for profit, when there are real genuine fans who actually want to see Prince and can't get hold of tickets. We don't all have big bank balances to stump up the cash on Ebay for an over-priced tickets!! To the profit seekers:- next time, leave the tickets alone for those who actually want to go to the gig!

My brother had two tix for the 21st which he bought when they very first went on sale. Then about 5 weeks ago Ticketmaster put some out for sale on their website and I bought 2. I immediately phoned my brother asking if he wanted to come with me and as my 2 were better than his 2 (!) he said he would. But straight away on seeing a posting on here by an orger I emailed him and offered him the 2 tickets which he is so grateful for. We're now meeting him on the 21st. My brother also got some aftershow tickets for the 21st and straight away offered them to the same guy who is having his main show 21st tickets. Another two orgers have also had after show tickets from us and all have paid/will pay no more than what they cost us in the first place. Just knowing that we've made these people happy is reward enough for us.

Sadly, eBayers cashing in on popular gigs is becoming all too familiar. Just wait for the ridiculout sums they'll be charging for the on-off Led Zeppelin gig coming up at O2.

All I can say is that I'm really really grateful to the 3 orgers who sold me tickets at face value.

It's market forces. If people are willing to pay over the odds for tickets then there will be plenty of people willing to sell to them.

And we'd also be stupid to think that there aren't those registered on here who buy up tickets at face value then sell them on ebay etc at a higher price.

When people are forced to buy tickets at ridiculous agency prices it's understandable if they need to sell them again at similarly inflated prices instead of here at face value. I don't think that's *so* bad. It's the agencies I really dislike... they serve no purpose other than to make money for themselves... and all at no risk, since they're allowed to return unsold tickets.

(Although I agree, there are lots of people cashing in purely to make some easy money. I'd like to believe there's only a small number of orgers doing this).

If TM would just use their brains, cut out the agencies, and allow returns when the event sells out, all this could be avoided.

If you sell tickets to an orger, I think it's a good idea to do the exchange at the O2 on the day, then you can be sure they won't end up on ebay. Although I would try to get payment for them in advance if possible... I was stung by an orger that agreed to take a spare ticket, then bought last-minute floor seats from TM and texted me at 5pm to tell me she didn't want mine any more. Result - empty seats in 102 row G and me suddenly £70 poorer. What a waste.

The tickets my brother and I have sold to fellow orgers - although we trust them implicitly - will not be handed over until the 21st, when we'll all meet up together at the 02.

The other aftershow ticket and concert ticket I purchased went to a very good home. Turns out my fiancee's boss's sister is a huge fan and was over the moon when her sister said she had tickets for her. Of course, she had the tickets off me for face value, and I've exchanged a couple of texts with her about the show. She's even more excited than I am, so I think there's zero chance of her selling the tickets on herself...if she does I'll be having some strong words myself, as I've already made it clear that if she can't make it the tickets are to come back to me, and you'll be first port of call for them.

I do think the touts (who have masses of tickets for sale) are evil and should be dealt with, as should the secondary ticket agencies who are advertising tickets for ridiculous prices.

I think the only way round this is for ebay to stop letting people sell tickets on there,but I cant see this happening myself.
