I only have 40 minutes to get ready and then head for London. I don't care that I am already tired and have a cold, I don't want to miss this unique chance! I'm so happy! See y'all there ! (block 115).  Tell us all about it!  don't leave hangin now  I just got up. Wow! What a main show that was! The Arena was glowing with purple sticks and I am so glad I was able to share this experience with everyone there. I even managed to find another ticket for my friend who had come along and that was the seat next to mine!!!! And those seats, despite being in 115 (BB), were very close to the front, and within a foot of the path the band used for getting to the stage. We even saw Prince walk past without his box for the final encore. I will probably post more comments in the threads relating to last night's shows, but for now, just one more thing: despite what some might say, God is very good indeed (well at least he has been, to me anyway) | |

In all seriousness can you tell me why you belive that prayer helped you get a ticket when there are millions of people around the world homeless, starving, sick and dying who's prayers would seem more worthy and yet aren't being answered. I was fortunate enough to get fantastic seats for 12 shows yet did little more than press F5 a lot and type in random words at ticketmaster. RIP | |

I LOVE YOU FOR POSTING THIS! I believe pure genius is chanelled thru 'god' or the 'universal light' or 'force'. Prince wouldnt be who he is without his spritual devotional passion, and u wouldnt be hearing the music u love so much without it! its such a big part of him, his music, his lyrics and his message. im with u jazzy, 100 percent.
and yes, u r all entitled to feel joy with no need for this awareness, for sho!! heres my story, just for those who r interested, i was desperate to get to the last eve at 02. i prayed soooo damn hard for days. on the afternoon of the event i felt so guided, a whole bizarre sequence of events led me to be sat next to a guy in queue outside indigo at around 7 pm, he overheard me and offered me his aftershow ticket for 'whatever i could afford and a smile'. i then 'happened' to get chatting to the right security guy outside the arena who cruised me into the main show and seated me for nothing but a smile, wait for it, right next to a special school friend i havent seen in 20 years.!!!!! i did not do that on my own!!! praise be! there is nothing to fear but fear itself! | |
