I think I'm pretty lucky....... I've been given tix to Sundays show and they are Block A2 Row A so I'm really excited!
Being the eternal worrier that I am though, after reading some of the the threads about sound quality I'm slightly concerned. I know this is ridiculous but was wondering if anybody on here had sat there/close to there? I went to the show on August 7th and had an awesome time but sat a lot further away! T x

I'm not gonna lie to you. I've sat in B2 and D2 and the sound isn't as good as it is up in the lower tiers. It's not terrible though and you do get to see Prince up close, so it's a question of balance. Once you see how close you are you will have a fantastic time, guaranteed.Being the eternal worrier that I am though, after reading some of the the threads about sound quality I'm slightly concerned. T x I agree actually....it's a real trade off, For me though, the atmosphere on the floor and being up close did make up for the drop in sound quality. Lower tier is where the sound is best by a mile

Being the eternal worrier that I am though, after reading some of the the threads about sound quality I'm slightly concerned. I know this is ridiculous but was wondering if anybody on here had sat there/close to there? I went to the show on August 7th and had an awesome time but sat a lot further away! T x I was in A2 Row H on the 28th. The sound quality was nowhere near as good as when I sat in 107 - very bassy and strangely muffled, the screens are behind you, so no chance of seeing them, and when Prince wanders down to the point, you'll be on tip-toes trying to catch a glimpse of his head. HOWEVER The synth/keyboard set is mere feet away, you can see every subtle (and not so subtle) facial expression, Prince will spend some time DIRECTLY in front of you, and very likely looking straight into your eyes, Mike Phillips will be about 6 feet away from you for the majority of the concert, as will Marva & Shelby. The atmosphere will be electric there and basically, you'll almost feel like you're part of the performance. So, that's my perspective on it anyway. Definitely go for floor seats - you'll barely notice the sound anyway, and you'll have the best night of your life. Nothing Compares 2 Ewe

was in a2 row a on weds, and it was great, it was my second time there and the sound problem had been solved my putting a close range monitor there so everything sounds great. i think they are the best seats in the house.
I mean.. they are rubbish, and i feel sorry for you, tell you what, fiver for the pair.. i'll take em off yr hands... [Edited 9/14/07 7:05am]

Was in that same block and row, sound was really poor for me that night (maybe its improved since?). But for the proximity you really cant beat it, especially if you catch eyes for a second. Plus he's been doing both synth AND piano lately, so you'll get double what I did. "U have just given birth 2 a 7 pound Bambi..." SBE 9Feb14

T x Hi Tony I was in A2, Row B last night (13th). The view is superb (if you are tall - I am, heh heh. Probably only D2 (to a lesser extend B1) on the floor have such good sightlines for the whole show. He spends a lot of time on the 'curl' so it is perfect for that. The sound was dire for the first number, but then the engineer shifted a few gears and it improved dramatically. The floor does not tend to be brilliant soundwise, coz you are not near the PA speakers suspended from the arena ceiling. Still, the proximity, atmosphere and view more than compensate. Indigo
