ok my ex- girlfriend From a few years back and now a friend (hadn't seen him before) went to see Prince on the 6th and texted me on Friday to say how brilliant he was and that she finally gets it and why i was so addicted to him! LOL typical a girl that was gorgeous and now is a major prince fan but no longer goes out with me! Good on Prince anyway, it shows that I wasn't mad when i was going out with her! Just wanted to share ....

I know exactly what you mean - i went with my sister on 28/8 and she said to me afterwards, that although she's always 'got' Prince's music, she never actually 'got' Prince - except now she does!
sadly, this made me v. happy!

It's so sad . A lot of my friends are too narrow minded to even consider listening to a Prince CD - he's awful, i'm told!
However, I finally persuaded my mum to go on 7th August. She used to say "You only need to go once". She's probably coming with me on sunday cos SHE wants to go again!
Another friend had said she liked a few of his songs and accepted a FREE ticket and aftershow last thursday. She says she hasn't stopped smiling yet!
