Prince (and most artists) usually like to kick off their concerts with a powerful opening song. Prince has often used 'Let's Go Crazy' or '1999' but what about 'Thunder'? Ithink he hasn't played that since the D&P tour and I thought it was amazing as an opener. Anybody else go along with this or an alternative powerful song?

Funny that. I was thinking the same thing last night when I got home. He has opened with Lets go Crazy, 1999, and Take me with you, in that order, on at least theree of those nights that I've been to. So as he has rehearsed 150 songs, I feel we are in need of some changes. I had some good alternatives in my head last night, but they've gone, I'm tired. I'll get back to you on that one!

I think Endorphonemachine would work rather well.... it gets my foot tapping at any rate!

Sorry 2 b predictable but I think Gett Off (that big scream at the beginning would kick start everyone) or even Violet the Organ Grinder - not that he's ever likely to do either of them of course....

...and yeah, Thunder would make a fab powerful opening number just like it does on the album.
