Hi, have you tried to phone them? What's the nature of your complaint? Restricted views?

I'm still waiting too. Sent my original complaint email a week ago & nothing since, so guess we have to be patient while they process them all.

Sent a letter off to Ticketmaster customer services, quoting some things read on 'housequake' and from trading standards. Had a letter to say they had received my letter and the matter was being investigated and I would have a reply within 28 days. I think you have to put it in writing, that's what i've been advised. Complain that the services provided differed from those sold to you. Exert your rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1994. The "very best seats" should not have a restricted view etc... Also, if bought by credit card, send a copy to your credit card company and make sure to mention this in your letter to ticketmaster, it can add weight! Will let you know if we get anywhere!!

Am legally entitled to a full refund, due to mis selling of a restricted view seat as "the best in the house" and am expecting one. And will get one, either from AEG or ticketmaster.

I understand how frustrating it is to hear nothing after sending in your complaint, however, rest assured they are getting to people.... there are just a lot of people to get to.

I found the lovely Maxine to be a little pushy in trying to buy me off by attending another VIP reception on the 20th with an added bonus of restricted view from the upper tiers in block 402, what a joker? She seems to think she's gods gift when it comes to sorting the VIP reception problems but doesn't seem to of bothered to of checked the seating plan which is the main complaint. She placed me on a list of people wanting a refund but would not say how much it would be qouted refunds not her department just the naff VIP reception! will have to wait another two weeks to find out what they offer.

In Maxine's defence, I have to say that I met both her and Julie from AEG on Sunday. I had accepted the replacement VIP for that night and was I treated as a VIP. A great effort has been made to improve the VIP since my earlier visit and nothing was too much trouble for them, They told me that they had been inundated with calls since the numbers were posted on Prince.org but they are doing their best to get through them all. I personally had a wonderful night, I didn't want a refund just wanted to enjoy Prince again, which I did. The VIP was good, the main show was brilliant but the Aftershow it was out of this world. An evening to remember for ever biggrin

I would of been all for accepting her offer if she'd offered me some decent seats, thought it a little lame offering upper tier seats as a way of recompence using the excuse that, that was all that was available especially ten minutes after speaking with her, I went onto their puppets site Ticketmaster and got a couple of seats in row d of block 111 for the same night. I for one couldn't care less about the VIP reception when I bought the tickets all I was after was decent seats. I've managed to get decent seats for 8 shows now including the 20th and 21st without the help of AEG's staff, so if a token gesture to get everyone to clam up about how they were treated in the first place is your idea of recompence then fine but I wouldn't be happy with no less than a full refund. Everyone slags off Ebayers for making a small profit but it's AEG that make the big profits by ripping off the real fans by claiming shows are "SOLD OUT" and forcing fans to buy overpriced tickets with crap views, it's nothing but fraud.

Does anyone have an email address for AEG? I haven't had a response to my recent letter and I only get voicemail when I call my contact.

This is Maxine/Julia or Julie what ever her name is - direct dial 02075361615 Leave a message just say your returning a call and leave your number or they probably won't bother to respond.

Or customer service 0208 463 2000 customerservices@theo2.co.uk

I have to say I was gutted by my first experience of VIP so much so that I went live with Glyn on Radio 5 Live to complain (not an easy task) and then got reported in the Guardian and I didn't do it just for myself!!! so you could hardly say I clammed up can you? I hope you get your refund and you are happy with it.

I'm glad you had a good experience the second time round they obviously offered you decent seats rather than Upper Tier. If you don't mind me asking what's so different about the VIP now other then a few friendly words from Maxine and Julie that alone wouldn't want me to fork out over £200 a ticket. I have to say the time I went the food was so bad we ended up at the Suasage and Mash place next time round. That was miles better even the atmosphere was a lot better at S&M,than it was in the VIP area.

I still think the VIP was overpriced - don't get me wrong - I thought when it was originally advertised that we would be having a buffett and entertainment which did not transpire. The difference second time round was that the food was much better and there were more people around serving - my friend still couldn't belive we had paid £235.00 each for it. I had been so upset by my first experience that I have to say this was so much better for me but I still don't think it was worth the money - decided to put it behind me and enjoy PRINCE because I have to say that the show and particlarly the aftershow on the 9th were just brilliant. Hope you do succeed in your claim.
