Getting to O2 from London City Airport Travelodge 16th Sep What is the best way to get to the O2 from the Travelodge at London City Airport?
We are going to the show on the 16th and don't know whether to get a cab or if there are trains or anything that will get us there easily? Can anyone share their wisdom on this? Also if there is anyone going to the aftershow and staying in the same hotel - how about taxi share back at the end of the night?? So excited!!!!

Hi there
We stayed at the London city airport travelodge on the 31st August for the Prince gig. We asked reception for a cab, a minicab took us to the gig and charged £18. although this did seem a bit expensive he did drop us off right outside dome and gave us his number to pick us back up he worked till 4am, rang him up at 3am after the aftershow and he was there in a flash to pick us up, £18 back to hotel. Hope this helps Enjoy the gig peace & B wild

Hi there i stayed there on the 9/9 if you walk doen to the docklands light rail London airport stop take the train to canning town (two stops) then get on the jubilee line to Greenwich north (o2) this will take you 15mins and cost £4.60 the last train back on the docklands light railway is 23.41 so if u are going to the aftershow then u will need a cab that will cost about £15 but you could be waiting sometime for one
I hope this helps Adam | |

I hope this helps Adam Yes. Either the Pontoon Dock (opposite the Thames Barrier) or Airport stops on the LDR are fine (about 10 mins walk from the Travelodge).
