You can flame me now, but I sold two tickets for the 14th August on ebay. They were bought for friends who in the end didn't want go. I watched people on this site saying things like "I'll buy your tickets", then coming back later and saying "No, I've got a better seat now". At the end of the day, I just wanted to sell the tickets to somebody who was definitely going to buy them, so I went down the ebay route. By the time you take off the ebay fees and paypal fees, I didn't make a fortune.

Another thing, you're tracking the highest priced tickets. There were a lot of tickets for earlier gigs for sale at ebay at less than face values and nobody bought them. I even wondered if my tickets were going to sell, but fortunately they did. I'm going again on the 20th and didn't buy extra tickets to sell. It's just more hassle than it's worth.

I'm currently selling 2 tickets on Ebay, I was forced into selling them by Prince, I had tickets for the aftershow on the 11th August which he promptly decided to cancel and go on the town with P diddy, it was the only aftershow I could attend and I could not get a refund from the box office, so I got an exchange for the aftershow on the 20th Spetember (I wonder why they wouldn't give me tickets for 21st ??? I figured tickets at the end of the tour would be worth more as people are running out of chances to see the aftershows).

So i'm selling 2 tickets for the aftershow on the 20th, I'd rather have seen Prince play a rockin aftershow on the 11th, but he couldn't be arsed, so I'm happy to get whatever I can for them to recover costs, he ripped me off, so may as well try and make something back.

If an Orger wants to buy 2 downstairs aftershow on 20th September I would be happy to know there going to a wanted home and I am happy to recieve face value for the tickets.

I've got something one stranger will give me £150 for, and another stranger will only give me £31?

Tough decision that one.

If I put a ticket on ebay I don't actually decide what it sells for, it goes to whoever wants it more.

Okay, that said, anyone want a ticket for Sunday's aftershow at face value?

Ah at last some sense prevails in here, the point some people on here seem to have completely missed, is that if people didn't sell their tickets on e-bay then they wouldn't be able to buy them!! you can't have it both ways

All the more reason to only hand over spare tickets on the night. It's one thing to be begging tickets, but at least you can weed out the people who are begging them so they can sell them on.

Equally, someone could say they had spare tickets, take your money in advance ("I need to be sure you're going to show up"), then disappear. Although you can always check how long they've been registered at the org.

It is a bit of a minefield, so I can understand why some people prefer to sell their tickets by some well-trodden (and more lucrative) method. As I say, my one experience with selling a ticket to an orger didn't go well.

Remember though, that some orgers have broke the bank to go more than once (travelling long distances, hotels etc) and maybe they thought they would be aable to afford another night, then realised they couldn't.... SO they are trying to make back the money they have spent...
I know this is still rubbish for fans who are desperate to go...
....just taking into account people's cirumstances.....?

I agree - I am a massive Prince fan and I will have travelled down to London from Cheshire seven times since the concerts started. With my hotel bills, travel and tickets I have spent more than £2000.00 (yes it has been worth it). I have lost on some of my tickets, £50.00 on two of them, and made small amounts on others. If I had been given decent tickets in the first place, I wouldn't have had to sell any of them. Looking forward to the 16th and especially the 21st
