I thought I 'd start a thread, rather a place 4 all of us 2 share our karmic experiences with reference 2 prince concerts / aftershows, liaisons, tender moments or weird n funny n strange sexy cool ones with reference 2 Prince and fams. Old stories and new, revolving around Planet Prince.

Are you sitting comfortable ....maybe with a cuppa coffee, tea, chocolate or stronger....then i'll begin.....,.,.
I do have a few 2 share but I really really really need 2 share what happened 2 me around 24hrs ago whilst I was at the O2....still high from the most amazing performance of Adore I have ever seen n heard!!

Yes it was that good.... I even think it was better than SOTT, (even though I only seen the video...but I digress..)
so still riding on the crest of the concert I was then trying 2 get a standing ticket for the aftershow....I didn't even know I was gonna b at the concert until 7.30pm when a friend got lucky....So it was all impromptu!

Back out the Indigo there was only Balcony left n I soooo wanted to be downstairs....I was there on 10th august n in balcony on 1st august so I knew the difference n intuitively felt last night was gona rock.....I needed 2 b downstairs!

And so its funny how karma works..... all the time in my life i've really wanted stuff, I've not always got it ....but I've learnt now we must always get what we really need.
And boy my need was bad..... It ached! Worse than when u got 2 go wee wee n worse than a need for chocolate or the real thing!! ....

Then 12 am came around... everyone had gone in n there weren't any tired people deciding not 2 go in...welll they never made themselves known 2 me.... ..A guy who was waiting for his mate at the cash point even had a radar 2 see if any 1 was deciding 2 sell their ticket n go home...
( thanks for all his help btw) n we missed a girl offering a tix as he came back 2 find me... the girl n the tix had gone!

I even had a mad bad lady (being calm ere ...keeping the karma ) negatively bite my head off when I merely asked if “they” had spare tix 2 get rid off..... but I was not phased...
Three people actually told me 2 go home, it wasn't gona happen...according 2 them it was 2 late. I never said a word... I just laughed.

Around 12.00am i decided 2 go 2 the loo... I felt disheveled, so went 2 brush my hair...as u do girlies.... n along the way a doorman stopped me n asked “where u going... aren't u going in there?” pointing across 2 the Indigo, he was just outside the Tai restaurant .
I smiled n said that I would love 2 but I haven't got a tix and anyway I'm off 2 the loo.....

Idle chatter ensued along with secure directions 2 the loo And then 4 me 2 come back and meet him at 12.30 am “coz he was gona try and get in with his work pass”.....and take me along 2.....hmmmmm

No I didn't get in with the doorman from Tai Silk.....
I went to the loo really not sure of the connotations of “getting in” with a doorman from a restaurant.... : shake:

He seemed a bit of a wolf parading as a lamb so I thought I'd have a debate in my head whilst in the loo ( loo = UK lazy word 4 toilet)

Now here is the karma..... and i need a starfish emoticon! (yeah big build up...but I did say it was a place 4 stories...)
I went in2 the loos under the cinema (which were tricky 2 find.... which is why i originally just attempted 2 sneak in2 one of the Bars near the main entrance and go 2 the loo there, but i was told they were closing and that the public O2 loos were still open in the main “street of resturants” )

I put my bag on the marbled sink side and started to rummage for my hairbrush .....

.....as i did i kept wondering about the prospect of seeing the wolf's teeth flashing at me whilst I danced and went wild to Prince and the NPG.....was it worth the hassle? What if he wanted to show me more than his teeth?!!!!!
And as I gave up on finding the hairbrush, just poking out from under my bag on the marble top was a white business card, a little soggy bcoz it was right on the edge of the sink..but still clear as day written.....
FREE PRINCE AFTERSHOW TIX... then a hand written euro mobile number, then written (just show us your 0+>)

Turning it over It was actually a business card from someone from Holland who works 4 a Dutch bank! I was amazed... and couldn't believe it.... Thats mad I thought.... Crazy, just like me....and so i texted saying I'd found it and was the tix still available...it was 12.15am and god knows how long that had been there....It could have been there from Thursday 4 all I knew.... the toilets were a mess!!!!!
After texting the number, which had a digit i wasn't sure of so i went for a 4, I did sit on the loo n intuition told me 2 avoid the trussed up lamb-wolf.... something in the water ... lol .....always helps.

As I left the loo i had a phone call from a euro mobile with the most wonderful voice saying “
hi.... i'm just outside having a cigarette with my friend and we have a ticket for you...where r u?”

2 mins n I was there right beside the couple n then going in2 the after show with them...they even wrote my name on the back of the ticket!!
And then as I walked in ndwent straight 2 the bar to buy said new prince buddies, a drink in their honour , prince walked on the stage!

The rest is reviewed and I can concur it was THE Most rocking funky spooky electric spiritual orgasmic aftershow I have experienced in years!!!

And So I would love to thank from the bottom of my heart Stephanie, Walter and his brother 4 making this story in my life and also 2 their friend who was 2 tired to go to the aftershow....
I am truly grateful.
A thank you also 2 the doorman at the Bar who refused me entry 2 use their toilets n made me go 2 the main toilets.

And a Mega big thank you 2 Prince n the NPG 4 all their joy that they gave last night...
I was going mad, stage left... shaking my thang n waving my hands n silk scarf all up in the place n funking down with alota fams....

thanks also 2 all those around who were on the +vibe (even thou there was alittle scuffle near us n a girl who was screaming for Darlin Nikki and talking throu most of the beginning of Joy in Repition..... n saying she didn't know what it was, when I tried to appease (shut her up,really) her and tell her that this song was way better....welll in a different way of course.lol)


U all rocked and will never forget all of last nite...Prince and NPG, U r my joy in repition...always.

And so my story ends and makes way for others.....If you have the time...I'd love to hear about others....yes its soppy but it brings a warm fuzzy feeling n its good 2 know that there r mad wild caring daring Prince fams....who like to be different and spontanous.....I mean not just me...lol
and its a warm fuzzy marshmellow feeling when karma is so kind.... Prince plannet or otherwise.

there must be some.... i read about a couple (on the dawn experience),
who when the guy took the girl to a cafe or restuarant.....he was gona propose...and just as he came out with it a prince track came on air, apparently it was an unusual one 2, .....
they had orginally met throu prince forum.... org or TDE i'm not sure which....
....that would av given me goose bumps.....
