Went to another concert - it wasn't Prince!

So I went to see The Beastie Boys play at Camden Roundhouse last week. It was a fantastic gig, but having been to 3 Prince shows recently and 2 aftershows, it was the weirdest feeling waiting for the concert to begin.

It sounds weird, but it almost felt like I was betraying Prince by seeing someone else in concert!

Cause I was on my own, I was actually listening to THE GOLD EXPERIENCE album on my iPOD while I waited for the B-Boys to come on-stage.

I met a couple at the bar beforehand, and convinced them to go see Prince at the O2 so I did my bit.

Oh it was fabulous. They did mostly instrumental tracks from their new album. but threw in some of their hip-hop songs and punk songs too.

I got some incredibly good photos from the front!

I saw the Jesus and Mary Chain at Brixton Academy on Friday. Was wondering whether anyone there had been to Prince too.
Great gig, by far the best venue in London, apart from the Carling thing now. Quite different to Prince though. In many and varied ways.
Anyone else interspersing Prince with something very unlike him?
