For the encore to last night’s mainshow, Prince came on stage wearing a short upper body black jacket with 3121 written on the back. He also said several times during the show that 3121 was where it was happening. Reminded me of the Sat 1st Sept gig – half-way through he said something like this was too much fun and he’d have to continue at 3121 later. Maybe we should expect heavy hints in the mainshow as to whether he’ll play 3121?

About 20 mins into the Aftershow last night he disappeared off-stage, re-appeared briefly and threw a towel into the middle of the floor and disappeared again. Aaagh! Thoughts of is that it ?!! Obviously not as he was quickly back and played for another 2 hours 25 or so. At the end of the night, a band friend said it was aimed at Mike Philips who apparently was overheating !!!

I didn’t think he was ever going to stop last night. He and the rest of the band were having such a great time. Can’t help but wonder if 3am was some sort of curfew by the Indigo/O2 people???! I mean he finished at 3am almost exactly….!

At the Aftershow quite a few of the band had friends or partners up in the King’s Row. They spent quite some time with them before heading down to play. Was last night in honour of their friends and family? Maybe. But Prince’s guitar work throughout the mainshow and aftershow makes me think he there was so much more to last night’s performance. He had so much to give last night !!!!

By the way, he changed clothes at least once during the Aftershow last night. Finished in a black suit, bowler hat, and those cool shoes with the flashing red lights !!!

Yeah! Loved the City Gent get-up. Was up in balcony after downstairs for previous one- gotta say it's dead handy for quick loo breaks, God I'm getting old!! Raced around to see him get into car- as before, yelled 'We love you!'- he smiled & waved, got into car, we started up a 'oh-ee-oh' chant' as he drove past & he very graciously stuck his hand out the window & flicked the v's. Kidding, no, he gave us a little wave. What a great guy.
