Don't know if someones already won but here's my piece.

(If anyone has tickets for the 21st main + aftershow and need to sell them please consider me!)

I should win because:

a) Not only am I the biggest fan of his music and I fancy him but this would be my last opportunity to see him ever seeing as I can't afford to get those tickets on ebay! Arghh!

b) I've been to see him at the o2 twice last month but I've sat in row Z of 111 (both times -and with an orger I met here) so I would absolutely love to be in this legendary 'gold circle' and see him really up close and not have to look at the large screens at the top to see him smile.

c) I've recently moved to (greater) London (for work) and I have a limited social life and have nothing to do in my free time except play on the internet so it would get me out of the house! And I can meet fellow fans!

d) I am guaranteed to dance throughout the entire show. I'm also a genuinely nice person and despite getting the piss taken out of during school years for liking Prince I never faltered. Still adore him! Don't know if thats a valid reason but anyway.

e) I bought the pillowcase! I now feel less lonely in this big dark city! lol

I would be so grateful if I could go, I realised that everyone should follow their bliss and seeing Prince perform is such an exctatic experience for me with memories that last a life time. I had not been out a great deal as I chose to babysit and let my partner go out instead since Bonnie was born as babysitters are scarce these days... and then Prince came along. Mary went again on the 31st with her friend from Dublin so I stayed home to babysit my daughter, and although as I drove away from the O2 I admit that I felt envious at first because experiencing the show brings such joy, I then realised that I had given a wonderful evening instead and my envy was replaced by a good feeling. I understand how it feels to give, and God bless you for the opportunity that you are creating for someone, the more you give the more you recieve. Peace

2) cause i just gave my tickets for the same gig away to someone who'd had a massive ebay transaction go wrong after paying well over the odds for tickets leaving them ticketless and i felt sorry for them

i like this idea.


so why should you give it to me? well i have tried to be good all my life, i help little old ladies cross the road, (somewhat obsessively) , i open doors for people... I know most of the lyrics to most of the songs and the ones i don't i'll totally fake along to and mouth whilst humming something akin to the tune.. also, i am 6 ft 4 tall, so if you have the ticket next to me, you can rest assured that i will not be in front of you blocking your view.

Further to that. i dance, and scream a lot.. during the concerts and have had ridiculous success in getting drumsticks at the last two prince gigs i have been to(giving me a full set!) Also, it's ninety percent certain i'll be able to magic you into the aftershow for free.

and that is what i did on my summer holiday.
