16/9: please appear (and play Gett Off) at the aftershow The last few weeks I have been spending many hours visiting the .org. Before August 1 I could not think this could not be an addiction, but it really is. It's really nice reading all the reviews and live updates from those people who already visited one or more shows in the O2 and Indigo. Reading all this brings back memories and brought me back to 1992, the year I graduated on high school and was going to the university. That summer I spent visiting Prince concerts (Diamonds & Pearls-tour) through Europe, which was really great. The live version of Gett Off is since then one of my favourite songs. The recent reviews of the aftershows in Indigo brought me back to the day before Xmas 1998. That night I attended Prince in Tivoli (Utrecht). For a really small (but enthousiastic) audience he gave us (together with Lenny Kravitz, Hans & Candy Dulfer and Larry Graham) a night that I will never forget. Playing Gett Off made this night complete! Before the aftershow I saw high heeled Prince playing ping pong/table tennis in the dressing room with high heeled Lenny Kravitz , which was really funny. After the show, before Prince left the Tivoli, he shook my friend's hand (who said that he would never wash it again). I was never so near by Prince. Xmas 1998 I had a great smile on my face all the time.
This weekend (at last) I'm leaving Holland to spend the weekend in London (actually with two guys I met the early 90's when I started collecting/trading Prince recordings on tape!! and visited the D&P shows in 1992 with) and...off course will 16/9 visit O2 and Indigo for, hopefully, two great shows. Like you all folks I really hope Prince will appear at the aftershow, give us a night like he gave several of yours the last few weeks and make my night complete by playing Gett Off! I'm counting the days... | |

Prince and Lenny playing table tennis? C.O.O.L. 
Gett Off would definitely be a great addition to the show, I reckon it would be an awesome opener! Fun to see you're going with two old friends, it's good to see how Prince (re?)unites people! | |
