Will he play at the 21st aftershow?

I've now seen several people express the opinion that he won't play at the last aftershow and I'm getting rather worried sad

How likely is this do you think?

All i will say other than posts ive already made is that if you want to be sure you see the man on his last aftershow is to get tickets for both the 20th and the 21st.

Before the start of the tour I would have said that the last day was the one that you could almost guarantee. I say almost because you can never guarantee anything with Prince. While I wouldn't bet my house on it, the chances must be rated as extremely likely.

If you want to guarantee that you'll have seen him at his last O2 aftershow, you will have needed to be there on the 6th and also have tickets for all of the remaining shows.
RIP sad

You did actually say on another post that P already had an aftershow arranged at a private club and will not be performing at the Indigo2 on the 21st.

Maybe he will, maybe he won't.
Hey, that's Prince.

As long as the main show's a corker I'll be happy.

On a separate(ish) note, I remember going to the final ONA Europe show in Rotterdam 5 years ago. Prince played a corker of an aftershow. My friend (a fellow orger, who I won't embarrass by naming) literally fell asleep on his feet while Prince was still playing (as we'd had a very long day which started @ 4am the previous morning). By the end of the aftershow we were deliriously happy to the point of waving excitedly at Princes tour coaches afterwards...and not realising until several minutes later that they were empty!! wave

I would be surprised if he doesnt turn up and play on the 21st...even if its only for a bit.

The fall out from him not turning up to ceratin shows has obviously reached 3121.com and Princes ears so for him not to show up on teh most likely of dates and with such obvious expectations AND the knowledge that it doesnt go down well when he doesnt....it woudl be cruel to say the least not to.

Also looking back over Princes history, first and last shows are always special and,if this is to be his LAST for a very longtime or EVER then I'd hope he'd want to do all he could as a great send off

I really hope you're right! beg So many people are gonna be gutted if he's not at the last one. I also remembered what roy267 said on this thread 242903 about P buying aftershow tickets for all the indigo staff that night, which would suggest he's thinking about playing - so that's another straw to clutch at.

Yeah thanks mate, you fail to mention that we didn't eat until 10pm! I would have been more alive if I'd stayed in my little black box before the aftershow! It was a wild show though.

Just to add my take, the 21st is the final night of a 21 night residency. Prince has booked the indigO2 for 3121. Why would he then go and play ANOTHER venue. That would be a very sour ending to a phenomenal run.

I think Prince is prone to madness sometimes, but I think Ticketmaster, AEG and the O2 might go out of business after the rampage of gutted Prince fans smash the place up.
