Questions for Sept 6th aftershow !

I can't barely come back to reality after such an incredible performance....the main show was phenomenal and the aftershow.....out of this world !!!
I was also at the opening night show and aftershow :the main show was very much intended to impress and Prince was clearly excited BUT the aftershow was a real disapointment for me. As I wrote before, Prince seemed VERY tense, he barely played and sang 1 song.
I thank God ( and my husband) that I was among the privileged ones to attend the Sept 6th aftershow. Prince was having such a great time , he couldn't stop playing and was enjoying every moment. Also, the audience was sober and kept bringing him back on stage. I savoured every minute of it and will cherish it this night in my heart as long as it beats.

For those who shared that night with me I have some questions:
1. At one point Prince had this HUGE smile on his face and pointed to someone in the front rows....Anybody knows who was the lucky one?? I'm sooooo jealous!!! He looked gorgeous without his shades on. What SEXY eyes he has and such a beautiful smile ( he has cute dimples !!) I was literally melting mushy
2. Why does Prince need laminated flashcards for his performance?
3. Anybody has "concrete" memories of the show or aftershow?? I'd love to have something to look back at when I'm feeling down...

I wish I lived in London so I'd go see my Prince every night. Now the only thing that keeps me going is planning the next time I see him. Am I crazy??

I remember Prince pointing at someone but i dont know who it was.

That aftershow was amazing to be stood front row centre stage was amazing right in front of his guitar pedals and next to the woman with the flashcards! Not sure why he has then since he never looked at them, perhaps with having so much material these dayz it might be getting more and more difficult to remember it all. That woman has a hard job since he didnt stick to his set list so when the first cord was struck on a song she had to sift thru 2 boxes of lyrics quickly to find the right sheet!

My memories of that night will be the insense which is a smell i'll never forget, having Princes plectrum from that solo at the end of anotherlover and proper avin it to 3121 near then end.

Was superb and a real moment that i'll prob never have repeated, a pinacle perhaps of my years as a fan!

I feel you 100%. You're right the smell of the incense definitely contributed to the mood. I find it hard 2 believe Prince NEEDS flashcards for the lyrics... hmm
I've got to know who this "special" person was in the audience....maybe he/she is the reason why the aftershow was so good?

I remember about half way through the show he pointed and smiled at the guy standing next to me with the big prince cut out sparkley thing. It got passed to me but I did'nt want to spoil the view for people behind me so I passed it to him, minutes later he pointed, boy was I annoyed that I passed it on sad
Would have meant so much to get a cool reaction off Prince. I was so close up at the aftershow that it was a strange experience, there was only 2 people in front of me and it just felt strange to be so close to my ultimate musical hero. An amzing night that I will remember forever!

Sorry but I don't think that's it unless you passed the glittery symbol cut out to the left of the stage. I was right behind the woman and her friends holding the symbol and Prince kept ignoring them (which I thought was a bit insulting..)
Who the heck was he pointing at??Anybody from here?? Agggghhhhh, I'm sooooo curious!!!
I tottally relate to what you wrote about seeing Prince so up close love I could see every single facial expression ( God was he enjoying playing HIS guitar, a true virtuose really!!) and every drop of sweat on his neck and forehead horny Did I mention those EYES ??!! Unbelievable!!
How can I possibly return to this dull life of mine now??

he deffo wasnt pointing to the guy holding the symbol - prince pointed in the other direction.

snippet of things i remember....

when he lay down on the floor - loved it!!

when he said "i love u all, except for that guy" and pointed to someone up in the balcony.

when he was orchestrating the band

everytime he smiled!!!

.....too many amazing memories of that night!!!

didn't do the aftershow but the 6th was by far the best main show i've been to this summer.

The highlights for me are the way he ended - making us all sing the "i think i love her" line from raspberry beret 3 times then said "i love you too" - awesome

and also the "this is my house!" stuff - such a massive reflection of how much he was feeling it that night
i ain't looking for a 1 night stand...

I was there and I truly loved the after show party, was stood right at the front to the right of the stage as you face it. Amazing! could see him out the left side with the other band members between performing songs etc. I am still on a massive high, best experience of my life!

Did anyone else see that stupid person throw a drink at the stage? Thats the only bad thing, the crowd were wild, Prince was amazing, and I am still in a daze.

Welcome to the Dawn - well and truly!

Yeah I saw that guy throw what looked to me was a bottle of water, what a cockmuncher, what if that had hit Prince? what if he had stopped playing because of the twatish behaviour of one person? I would have been well pissed. But hey that did'nt happen and Prince performed a most wonderful and energetic performance, god I'm still buzzing now from it. I want to go again!!!

With you there! really loved the show, think if Prince would have walked off, that bloke who threw the drink would have been mobbed! So much energy in the place that night! Where were you in relation to the stage?

I saw the drink go on stage but didn't see it thrown. I did see the guy get evicted though, which was quite funny. He got confronted by a bouncer, was trying to talk himself out of it when two more turned up. He soon went quietly. lol lol
RIP sad
