I'll be there. I was in London on Thursday and Friday and have always been to a gig when he has been in the UK.

I can say without any shadow of a doubt, what I witnessed Thursday and Friday night (Thursday especially) were better than anything I have seen, this band is so tight..

I am now trying to sort out the location and parking etc for Manchester and I am expecting great things.
The soundcheck on Friday night was worth the NPGMC membership alone.

Kev , don`t worry about parking , there is a secure car park near the venue and also a sort of car park on wasteland close by as well.

I am on Monday & Tuesday , I was taking my eldest daughter (14) who first saw Prince aged 4 on the D & P tour.

She has grown up liking rock music (which is a bit disappointing -LOL) and her favourite band are Sum 41.
On Thursday she won a Radio One contest to go and see them play a small invite only gig at Maida Vale studios.

They are not my cup of tea , but I must admit I would have loved to see her reaction when they hit the stage.

Mind you she wanted to see my reaction when Prince hit the stage - I`m sure I could have embarrassed her !

Can`t wait for Monday and Tuesday , I was a bit tense queueing up last Thursday , worried that there would be no tickets when I got in , so I wasn`t as chatty as I should have been , I`ll make up for it at Manchester.

THat's what I'd like to know Magic. I have just been told by some people I know that the Apollo is not in central Manchester and that it's not very nice...and that the bouncers are bastards! Woo hoo! I guess I'd better do some proper research on the net as I don't know how to get there or anything.

I'm going alone and the last time I saw him was in the Hippodrome in 98. So if U see one solitary girl who is shaking with excitement, U'll know it is is!

By the way, where are U all staying? I will have to book a room somewhere too...
