This sounded an amazing aftershow. Especially the ending songs being 3121, bass solo and Chelsea Rogers. Wish i was there I got more hits than Madonna's got kids!

I've slept (somehow) ... but I'm still high as a kite ! .. I keep remembering things.
I've another 3 concerts and aftershows including final night - but in all honesty - after last night's aftershow I can't be disappointed now when I think back to this summer. Not that I was anyway .. you know what I mean. It was insane - just insane. I remember thinking that all the people that said to me they don't 'get' prince - that i wished they could see this, to understand. (Though I'm glad they weren't in the crowd 'cos it was hardcore FER-REEAKS only last night !) He was right - a new name does feel mighty fine....now for some fun - MWA HA HA HA

Me thinks that he should stay here & party for ever!! Ooooh, yesss, I second that! (or third it - or five hundred and first it) (Hi Slaphead *waves* so nice to meet you last night!) Sitting next to pretty excited party pepple, so that's good! My purple beret is getting a few comments, chuffed about that (Dyed it myself, it was white a couple of days ago!) Arena filling up nicely now. Behind me someone with very sweet small daughter, also wearing a very cool hat. OMG, 8.40 and lights r out! maybe a sign to a great aftershow, going green with envy here in germany, knew it was a mistake to get on that plane yesterday how right i was, and he played Chelsea Rodgers, what was that like live, please put me out of my misery Chelsea Rogers was insanely good, tbh. It was so long overdue, I think we had wanted it so bad for such a long time, that the place erupted and everyone was shouting their head off along with it (can't really be called singing anymore, I think). But he was ripping it up, dancing next to Shelby who was giving it her all. Right at the front (often when she sings he goes more to the back or side), he was loving it, doing a really rocky, funky version together with her. Hard to describe. He was going at it like there was no tomorrow. I guess there isn't. Brilliant, only had 2 people in front of me, centre stage.... TOO GOOD!! My favourite tunes were The one u wanna C, Chelsea Rodgers (amazing crowd response) 3121 and the best bit was Prince playing bass guitar... Soo funky! An AMAZING night. "Still Crazy 4 Coco Rock"

i thought his outfit was so cool! and when his lay down on stage!!! made me laugh. cant believe he sang so many songs from Planet Earth - all brillantly performed. Was right at the front at his mic - never seen him so close up, he looks amazing. Couldnt have asked for a better night, Shelby was on top form aswell. Prince was on stage a lot longer thatn i thought he'd be - LOVED IT!!!! "Why, you selfish son-of-a-biscuit-eater!"

Last nights aftershow was brilliant and I couldn't believe that my 100% record of seeing Prince at the aftershows continued. I'm now 4 for 4!! I was there in a group of 7 orgers but split off with Jxx as she wanted to be nearer the front. We ended up to one side of the stage but close enough that we could reach out and touch it. For the most part it was also very comfortable, with space to dance and nobody pushing. It got a bit pushy towards the end, especially with one guy who was about 6'4". I have no idea why he felt such a need to push as far as he could in to the couple of foot that there was left to the stage, he couldn't have had any problems seeing. But feel the need he did and for a couple of tracks I ended up with my shoulder wedged in his armpit, which wasn't the greatest experience I've ever had! The things we have to endure to see our man up close eh? The first half hour was ok, with Shelby taking lead vocals. She has an amazing voice and I did enjoy it but I'm not really there to hear someone else sing, I want Prince! At least he was onstage the whole time playing his guitar, so all was not lost. After Shelby's set there was a couple of minute break, then Renato started playing the start of Planet Earth, which kicked off just over an hour of Prince. At the end of Planet Earth, I turned to Jxx and suggested that it would be amazing were he to play the entire album. Then he went into guitar, Somewhere Here On Earth, The One U Wanna C and I thought that the wish was about to come true but after that he went into Dirty Mind. I asn't too bothered though as The One U Wanna C was the track I really wanted to hear live, so if nothing else I'd got more than my monies worth right there. Was great to hear Chelsea Rodgers live, it's actually my least favourite track on PE but I can appreciate it's funkiness. The rest of the set was amazing and it was a fantastic show. Out of the four I've seen, I'd rate this one 3rd but only by a small margin. For me, nothing will ever top the 28th, with the 3 piece band rocking us into places we never knew existed. I had always said that my dream Prince show would be a stripped down band playing rock, so I think that will forever be my number 1 show. The 2nd best was the 18th but it's a very close run thing with last night. Prince sang pretty much the whole time on the 18th and the feathery hat was always going to give the show a couple of extra points. RIP

Hmmm..... Do you think he's having such a good time that he's changed his mind about hanging up his Guitar??? Me thinks that he should stay here & party for ever!! Just imagine what our lives would be like - one long big party!! Is it like that living n Minneapolis, I wonder? That reminds me, at one point in the aftershow he said, "I will just have to take all of you with me back to Minneapolis!" There were around 5 ejected and his mates must have been thinking "why should I be leaving this amazing aftershow". How can you throw a pint of drink at Prince? Imagine if he would have stopped the show if it would have hit him?? I'm hot and I don't care who knows it...I got a job to do.

Oh that is what that was?! I didn't see the idiot or the pint, but got wet by it! Was down near the front with some guys I met in the aftershow queue (much love to both for letting me tag along and "find a good spot" with them) and got wet and confused by some random flying liquid. Guess we were looking for the a-hole who threw it rather than what it actually was. Me too! 4 for 4! I have now gotten even more superstitious about my "lucky purple shirt", since a friend who came with me on the 14th commented that as I had the same shirt on as the 1st, Prince would surely play the aftershow again.. it has now worked all four times! Sounds like you weren't too far from where I was, though I would have needed some arm extensions to have actually touched the stage! If you noticed a guy bouncing up and down zebedee-style to the first chunk of Chelsea Rodgers a couple of meteres back from the stage-right monitor, that may have been me. What a great aftershow! I too wondered if he would give us the entire Planet Earth Album, but that would have maybe been too much, lol. When they came back on at the end though, and Shelby said "R U ready 2 get crazy!!" or whatever, I just KNEW that they were gonna give us Chelsea Rodgers.. it just seemed to be the right time. Incredible to have been there for that! Eye like pretty things, and u're just as pretty as u can b...

Agree that this was a good show - broke my jinx and got first appearnace in 4 a'shows. Was hyped to see Chris Morris attending the show as well - another hero of mine. Anyone else spot him? Also, at one point I thought I saw Richard Hammond dancing in front of me - anyone else confirm he was there?
There were some drunks there last night, they all seemed to be around me! There was one particularly annoying person who seemed to be attending with his son, and was around 50-ish, but who kept waltzing in and out of the crowd ferrying beer to his son on a regular basis. He got steadily more drunk and at one point tossed an empty beer glass over his head in a Trainspotter way and hit some poor guy near the front. Then carried on dancing as if butter wouldn't melt. The crazy thing was he was suited and booted and grey haired and should have known better. I guess he enjoyed himself... I drove up from Bristol especially for the a'show as I had to work until 8.00, and I'm glad he didn't disappoint. Now, fngers crossed for Sunday...

I'm becoming some kind of lucky charm here - three aftershows - three amazing performances. Last night was again so different to anything else I've seen - the Shelby showcase followed by what I think we all began to think was a full run through of Planet Earth. He's a pesky little rascal though - announcing 'The One U Wanna C' as "time for the singalong"... yes dude, we do wanna hear you sing it goddammit! LOL. Tell him u live on a lilypad with a horny toad
