Anybody been to that new club...? Indigo I think it's called Yo, yo, peeps...
So, like... I just got back from this new club - it's called indigo or some shit like that. Saw a tight little band there. They is there from time ta time, kinda like the unofficial house band. They got some funky tunes but the main draw is the guitar player. Now this cat can play, ain't no doubtin' that. 'cept... he love to stay in the background, teasing folk with his strings. Diggit? He's a cool cat, for sure. His songwriting needs a little polish but he ain't half bad. He sang some shit tonight about da Earth... and war. Was a'ight. He played another tune went somethin' like "When you was mine/I gave you all o'my monay!". Man, that was bumpin'. I hope that will be his next single, y'all - it was tight! I'm tellin' ya, man. That dude got charisma. If he sang a bit more, maybe even danced a bit. I reckon people might just like him. I'm hopin' that this band makes a name for themselves. They got potential, y'all know what I'm sayin'? If his songs get just a bit more funky, I think they could have themselves a Top 10 hit. Hell - maybe even Top 5!!!! If you is near the Dome, get yo ass over to indigo and see the house band. They called MPG or somthin' - probably a reference to their Hummer not getting a lot of mileage on a full tank... PEACE! OUT!!! "What did the five fingers say to the face?" SLAP!! -- Rick James, habitual line-stepper.

Was he by any chance a short little fella with a penchant for wearing purple and high heels. I hear he is quite good and is very much seen as the next big thing by those in the music industry. Keep on eye on him as you never know.....

I'm pretty certain that his name too. I have heard it's the son of a dude who was performing back in the 80's, I think his name was Roger Nelson.
This Prance fella is going to do well from what I hear. PorterUK said: oldpurple said: so whats this dudes name?

OUT!!! Sounds like you saw the same people I saw at the Indigo on Satyrday. They were fronted by some guy who was dressed up like one of those old post boxes (and he was about the same height as a post box too). I reckon if Post Box man he lost the facial hair, turned his Guitar down, and hooked up with Timbaland, he could be a real hit with today's discerning pop music fans. It's been too long since you've had your ass kicked properly:

For sure, peeps. If he got a good producer and maybe a guest vocal by alicia keys or a rap by kanye, it's possible he could have a gold album. Hmmm... Gold. Seems like that would suit Prance. "What did the five fingers say to the face?" SLAP!! -- Rick James, habitual line-stepper.

Listen y'all, this "Prance" figure asks more questions than he give answers.
Like... Is he black or white? Is he straight... or gay? Y'all... we gotta get some answers. This boy is an enigma. Does he believe in God? Does he believe in himself? I gots to know. I just gotsta. "What did the five fingers say to the face?" SLAP!! -- Rick James, habitual line-stepper.

We need to get this Prance fella some exposure on national TV. Let's get him in front of Simon Cowell & Louis Walsh. They really know how to spot talent! Danni Minogue can help him out with her extensive vocal range and dance steps.
This could be the break he is looking for! I have also heard a rumour that Prance writes for other musicians. Yep he's given songs to Gareth Gates and Peter Andre. [Edited 9/8/07 12:18pm] Say hello to Podge

Wow, this Prance has sum major talent. Tell me, has he used any good samples in these songs? If a boy can't sample, then I ain't listening. I kinda like guitars to look at, but playing one never interested me. And pianos is for old folks. I don't know what that big shiny metal thing was, (maybe a "sexyfone"?) but if the guy can scratch and spin then I'm a fan for a long time - could be as long as the duration of his album.
