LONDON GIG AND AFTERSHOW DAY 3

ok i'm not so tired tonight even though its 5 in the morning...just been to a 24 diner..food definetaly makes a diference!

ok...souncheck...after waiting quite a while to get in i think we all realised that it wasn't going to be as long as day 2. first he went over muse to the pharoah so that it could be filmed in the right lighting state.

as you know i'm not good at set lists but he did do alphabet street omongst a few others!!

performance...it was hard or me personally to get into the mood of the show at first cos i was so tired and it started the same as day 2. the dance comp was held between two male dancers...the winner received $700 eek

songs different from the pevious days included Peach, Joy in repetition, alpahbet st, days of wild and so many others...god i'm crap at this...maybe i am tired after all!

i did get onstage again to dance during peach which was ace...4 times in three days...not bad ey wink

the finale consisted of about 100 audience members dancing to the extended mix of alphabet st...crazy.

again prince was on top form...the band were tight today...there was an acoustic set with prince singing 7, the telemarketers song (not sure of name) amngst others.

highlight for me was def joy in repetition.he oozed sensuality.

afershow was held at the new marquee in islington. he came on stage and did a 40 min set. i think i can remeber most of the songs...included...Tamborine, willing to do the work (Anna Maria from audience adding fantasic ad libs) , Sign of the times (audience sang whole song!!), shake, and thats all i remeber for now!

it did seem short but i have enjoyed the last few days so much that this was an amazing bonus. prince is on top form...i can't remember seeing him this relaxed and FUNNY. he really interacted with his fans and i feel that we have been treated well. ok so there are a few complaints but he can't keep eveybody happy.

i'm looking forward to resting tomorrow and going through all the memories.

i really hope everyone who is about to see prince will cherish their memories too positively.

i will probably remember more tomorrow but i hope this is adequte reviewfor now.

i must alsosay that i've met some great ppl who i am sure i will keep in touch with. you all know whoyou are so much love to you.

unique will also have a few stories to tell wink

oh and another thing...i was concerned that prince would be preaching in the gigs cos of reports i read from the states.
it wasn't the case at all...when he did mention religion he spoke of how this is his choice...and it seemed totally appropriate in the context.
anna stasia on day 2 probably felt a bit "preachy" but i actually found it quite spritual.i left the show totally calm.

he also spoke of the need for real music with real musicians
and problems with the media.
