indigo queue tomorrow night - any advice?

hi - I'm going to the aftershow tomorrow night and would like to get relatively (ok, very) near the front...at what time does the queue start up outside? and do they open the doors at 11.30 or later? all the other times i've been i've walked in about 12.30 after not queueing at all, which was really good...but my sacrifice was to stand on tiptoes and peer through heads...what do you think? any advice would be good! cheers lol

Miss the last encore of the main show and get in the queue (or start the queue if you are lucky)

They do open at 11.30 but its a hell of a lot of queueing and waiting compared to your previous approach.

Depends - are you coming out of exit B or H? If B, stay, watch the encore, then RUN!

If you are coming out of H, it's a looooong way round to Indigo2.

Either way though, you'll be behind the people who started queueing at 7. I've got great positions every time without panicking and without missing the main show. My advice - chat to people who are near the front at the IndigO2 and they'll let you near them. Be nice, be friendly. Be 6ft 3 if that helps!

On the 18th we came out of the main show, met some friends who were not going to a'show, chatted for a bit, went back to car got some stuff, then got in queue right at the end and we still had a good place in Indigo2, so dont worry ma dear smile

When I went on the 18th, me and my crowd nipped into the brasserie type place near the Indigo, had a drink and sing along to all the Prince been played there. Gave it about half an hour and just strolled in as the queue was pretty short by then.

Dont queue, go to the Inc brassaire after, chill out there, dance abit, and wander into the indigo about 12.15, has worked for us everynight, i still think the org should take the brassaire over for the last 2 nights err

If you're not going to the main show, and you're with a mate, then queue early, chat to the hardcore, you can get some drinks and take them back to the queue, and get a place RIGHT at the front.

Why bother queuing? Every aftershow this tour, bar last Saturday (1st), we just turned up, no queue about 12ish. Got in got pretty close to the front, could have got closer if we tried. I'm short so getting a good close view is important even if it's not Prince I'm going to see!

On the 1st the queue was massive around 11.30ish. My friend was going mental 'Let's get in the queue, I've never seen it like this!', to which I explained that we always got there later. Anyhow, once in the club, loads of room. We aimed for the left of the stage, and we were about 5 people from Prince. It was a really good view.

In short, don't stress smile

exactly, it is about soaking up those beats, getting the odd glimpse of the man himself, and basically having the time of your life.....

forget 10.30, you will miss the encores, if you are going on the 6th you wont have any problems getting tickets after the main crowd have left, dont get put off by the sold out signs, have a relaxing drink somewhere, and sum up the energy for the after show wink

no worries there Whitnail, I'm not going to the main concert, so won't even see the start, let alone the encores!
i've got tickets too..it's just I wondered what time I could turn up to be near the front of the queue...so i didn't have to queue for ages AND be nearish the front?! cool
