Take a break from music?? I don't c that happening! (even if u transcribe that whole press conference 2me).

How many "last ever" tours has he had?

He may take the rest of the year off from full scale touring, but he aint putting the guitar down, I wud place a bet on that.

This doesn't really mean that much at present.

The dealer claims that Paris dates will be added shortly on the site, but no official source information.

I'll be amazed if he doesn't plonk his symbol-shaped stage down somewhere else in the world real soon, its too successful a formula not to. Be surprised if its Paris, though...

This will depend on how successful the London dates have been. I am wondering if he was using the London concerts as a precursor to a possible European tour. Mind you it must cost a fair amount of money to move from country to country, if the fans come to him we might see another London residency or is that just wishful thinking on my part!

His career has undergone a revival since the ONA tour and his Musicology tour in the USA was the second highest grossing USA tour of 2004, in terms of net takings he was actually No.1.

With regard to this being the last time he sings his greatest hits, I'm not so sure about that. You may find that any future concerts he does will feature more of his newer stuff supplemented with songs from his back catalogue.

I just hope he does not leave it another 5 years to come back to London. That's too damn long!

It isn't the last time he will ever play his greatest hits.

This is simply promotional headlines.

The nearest Prince has ever come to officially retiring a song was with '1999': he's now playing the song again.

It will be a pleasure for me.... smile

In my opinion it´s enough with "Purple Rain" and something like that...if there will be some old stuff...please some of the funky "old" things instead of the hits. Playing "Purple Rain" once more and more...it is boring...come on...

Sorry - but I think you are getting a little confused here!

Ticketbande are only selling tickets for Prince in London. However, they are also selling tickets to the Rugby World Cup in October, in Paris at the Parc de Prince razz

There's similar confusion on Ebay - a search for Prince tickets will also bring you a few for this apparent date in Paris in October.

London is the ONLY place in Europe you will see Prince this year.

Okay.....I´m not blind wink ...maybe confused sometimes...but surely not in this case.... wink
(I hope your german is in a good condition....and if it´s not PARIS is quite recognizable.. wink ).
And:"00.10.2007 Prince Tickets London Tickets Paris (Omnisport de Bercy) "

The tix aren´t released yet.

If U wanna go to c some rugby..okay...it´s up 2 u.....me I´m waiting 4 the purple tix.... razz

Hehe - its cool and I certainly wasn't commenting on your visual prowess!

I hadn't seen that paragraph and my German's ok - so yes, it says that there are only London dates confirmed for now and "however, conerts should follow in Paris".

Much as this would be cool, I find it hard to believe, if anything because tickets are not yet available. Given that tickets went on sale for London in what, April/May, I would be surprised that tickets for a concert supposedly in 1 month's time are not available to buy. Of course, its likely to sellout in minutes, but its still a risk leaving it so late.

I live in Paris and I came to London for the 31st Aug. gig, which was the only one I could afford... I was so disappointed he didn't appear at the aftershow...

Please make one or more concert in Paris, Prince!!!
