Feel really down

Thats it,tuesday was our last time going to the o2(2nd in total) and am really feeling deflated at knowing we wont be going again. We dont live too far from London but its not a journey I would want to do on my own(hubby is all Princed out and doesnt fancy going again and friends arent fans). And dont know if I was to venture going on my own, whether i'd be able to get a ticket anyway. Ah well, just grateful we went twice. Anyone else feel the same? pout

Hey chick - not there yet, but i know I will be after the 12th...chin up...you have some awesome memories!

If the opportunity arises to get tickets online for 21st I'll be in a real dilemma! My hubby will have been to 2 concerts already, so def all Princed out, and I have also run out of friends to drag along!

I'll prob just bite the bullet, buy two and take a random with me!!!

Tickets are still being released for several dates, so why not give it a go and go on your own?!
And you won't be on your own, there's 20,000+ fans there as well!
If I were you I'd go.
Come on, go go go!
You might regret it later!

Yeah, pull yourself together and buy another ticket! You can get great seats nearer the date.

I'd second that...if you don't go again, you might regret it later. Its only £30 a ticket (and travel costs I guess) but I guarantee you'll look back and wished you'd have done it.

Went to see Madonna for the first time last year and only went the once. Have regretted it ever since!

I know how you feel.... thats why I'm ended up buying loads of aftershow tickets, and I'm going on my own for most of them! It's very liberating, not having to worry about whether the person you're with is enjoying themselves or not etc. I've met some very friendly people there, and you could always arrange meet up with some orgers!

If you can get tickets I think you should go for it... I think aftershow tickets are still available for most nights. I know I'd have been really disapointed with only 2 shows! lol

I feel exactly the same. I got tickets for the 18th August concert as a birthday present for my boyfriend - I wasn't a fan at all before, but I was so blown away that I spent the following week constantly refreshing Ticketb@st@ard to get tickets for another show. Amazingly, I got floor seats (A2) for the 28th (went with a friend this time), and was SOO lucky to see the aftershow too. I really want to go again, but due to work commitments and depleted bank balance don't know if I'll be able to! Chances are, I'll have to go by myself if I manage to get tickets too.

I think you'll still have a great time if you do go to a concert by yourself - after all, there are plenty of orgers and quakers who you could meet up with! Just make sure you stay safe, and don't get any dodgy cabs!

That's what the forum's here for, how about a group of us hook up to do a later show rather than be lone llamas in our Prince fandom?

You missed a treat, it was an amazing show!! That having been said it was my first time seeing the lady so I would have been impressed with any sort of show. I'm gutted I missed the Re-Invention Tour....I've got a copy of the concert and it sounds awesome!!

Good idea, and a fair few of us are ahead of you there....there's a group meeting up for the last show on 21st Sept if anyone wants to join our merry band.

OK - so all those who want to form a 'consortium' (for want of a better, less corporate word) of people who don't currently have tickets for the 21st but want to go with a group of orgers say.... Aye!

Lol...Lucky you smile

Not that this newly formed collective is in anyway 'exclusive' (as derived from to exclude as opposed to expensive & wanky...lol)..I would love to hook up with a crew of gig crazed (peach and black suited...lol) Prince Orgers on the 21st - I just hope TM give me the chance!

My thinking was that we poor, ticketless souls could combine our efforts in getting hold of some tickets for 21st should the opportunity arise...

Judging by how many people have been moaning about those skinny-fit Prince t-shirts that have been on sale and how they'll never get into them....I think there's a snowballs chance in hell of that happening!! biggrin biggrin

That's the spirit! I think the thread needs a new title... lol

So shall we agree to try and get a pair of tickets for 21st? After that we'll all have PPCM (Post Prince Concert Malaiase, a recognised medical condition categorised by a constant need to be on TIcketmaster for no purpose) as there will be no more gigs...

I will try and be online as much as poss over the next few weeks...ultimately if we end up with two pairs we won't have a problem selling them! What do you think?

I am so desperate to be there...oh please please let TM do another release soon to put me out of my misery!

....have you all tried looking on Ebay for final night tickets??

I know you're likely to end up paying a shed load more for the tickets than face value, but if you've got the cash it might be idea to have a look on there....not that I'd want any extra cash going to those dodgy touts, but if that's your only option.
