Thankyou to all of you guys, I'm a fairly recent member, I stumbled across this forum while googling prince.. I was so glad I did too. Its been great to share my experiences with you and hear about all of yours, its nice to know theres somewhere I can go when my friends and family are Princed out!

yep me too, it's soooo frustrating when I get all excited about my tickets and get no response from friends, I did take one with me and we had fabulous seats and she did enjoy it but still don't think she appreciated fully how fab and lucky it was to get great seats as we did

I have to agree...have been on this forum daily since the london gigs have started and its been a real pleasure...like following an event like the world cup, loads of suspense and surprises as you wait to hear about setlists, supports and afterparties.

Thankyou everyone whose kept us up to date with the goings on at the o2 (including synthiarose's escapades! ). i went on the 7th and loved it...roll on the 16th sept for a great show and full afterparty set (fingers crossed)

Is there gonna be a counceling service available after the 21st? i think a lot of us will have trouble knowing what to do with ourselves!

I also wonder if other big artists might take prince's lead and starting doing long london residencies...go on stevie wonder, you know you want to!

I'm not sure about a counseling service but anyone that wants to is welcome to lie on my sofa and tell me how they feel

I am also new to all of this. I am going to see Prince again on the 9th and have also just bought tickets for the aftershow again. I went on the 17th and the concert and aftershow were great, but would of been even better if Prince did play at the aftershow. I have been a fan for more than 20 years and cannot let this opportunity go by again without trying one more time to see him perform at an aftershow. The highlight for me on the 17th was when I was going back to the hotel in a people carrier and we passed another people carrier on a dual carriageway and I recognized Maceo. I screamed out 'Theirs Prince's band!' and our taxi driver slowed down and got level with them again. The only thing I could think of doing to get their attention was the actions to 1999 and my partner was behind me waving frantically. They were all looking and laughing and waving back. It was fantastic, but now when I think about it, I laugh cause I bet me and my partner looked really stupid and they were probably saying to their driver to put his foot down!
