I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! I am just about over my shock from possibly one of the greatest nights of my life! Prince was 'the man' in every way, from his outfit, his smile, his enjoyment of the crowd, his voice, his guitar playing his piano playing and his ability to thrash out possibly one of the greatest setlists so far (well for me anyway!). It is safe to say that I was impressed with the September 1st show from the word go!
Opening with 1999 made the crowd up for the concert from the start and he didn't disappoint after either, he just sang song after song of great hits and, unlike the previous show I'd seen, he was on stage for almost the entire show (except for outfit changes) which seemed to keep the crowd, and him by the looks of it, happy. I won't go over the whole setlist, but highlights were, 1999, The Beautiful Ones (my favourite), Sometimes it Snows in April, Sign of the Times, Nothing Compares 2 U, a full version of Purple Rain, Guitar and Musicology - brilliant, brilliant times! If only I could get tickets for the last show the I might actually be in heaven! Oh and thanks to the 'hardcore fans' sat either side of us - you made the night so much the better for actually understanding why we were jumping up and down like lunatics!  My thoughts exactly - this was my 3rd concert and it blew my mind - I dont think it can be beaten - personally set list spot on 4 me - the only 1 nissing still that i wud luv 2 see him do wud be i cud never take the place of ur man - but apart from that - PERFECTION!
Think we were lucky he was in the best mood I have ever seen him - this was my 10th prince concert of my life - possibly my last and what a way 2 remember him! SO.....funny 2 with his toilet seat rules he he and his "I may b small but so is dynamite!" If that wasnt enough i then had the once in a lifetime experience at the aftershow party - brought tears 2 my eyes and made it the best nite of my life!!!!! i could not agree more also my 3rd time saturday.Friday was good but sat was even better he really looked like he was having a great time and he did not want to leave and neither did we  | |

This was my 3rd time too! We should form a club  I have to say that the 1st sept show was the absolute BEST BY FAR!!I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off
