I think that irishwolfhound is going to 18 shows (according to one of his posts), if that is correct can anyone beat that?. Thinking back on previous tours in the UK by Prince. Has anybody a list of these and the years that they took place. I would be interested to see how many times he has toured the UK, I have seen 5 of these, Wembley Stadium (year unknown), Earls Court (Diamnond & Pearls Tour - 1992), Wembley Arena (Gold Experience tour - 1995), Hammersmith Odeon (ONA tour-2002) and at the O2 (2007). Can anyone help. i am going 2 18 shows and 1 of them was VIP which was last night. i also bought about 12 aftershow tix....i have aftershow 4 the last night and was offered 200 quid last night in the VIP lounge 4 it,,,,seriously thinking ill flog it but i might just go 2 the show 2 say farewell 2 prince. 4 what its worth i wont be repeating this prince Xperience....its cost me over 5000 euros...tix...airfares...hotels...Xpense...etc.... is it worth it????....probably not....but as u only live once i decided 2 go all out on this tour....next time i see prince will b when he comes back 2 ireland,,,as im not going abroad 2 c him again....unless he does a celebration at the park again...id seriously consider that as i was never at the park....perhaps 1 day.... i had/got/have tix to all 21 main shows and 21 aftershows, i've missed all three tuesday shows, but i'm missing no more shows, so thats 19 nites in total, and 38 shows if u include aftershows. prince hasn't showed at all aftershows, but he's done at least something at most of them so far. it makes an interesting chance to see the band without him at times. if it was the same every nite i think i'd get a bit princed out

If I lived in London, i would have serioulsy attempted to see ALL the shows, but as things stand I've seen 3, have tickets for 3 more (6th, 20th, 21st), and have my finegrs crossed for going on the 16th as well (work and ticket-getting-ability permitting), because Ireckon 7 would be a neat number to have attended - roughly a third. Though I guess with the Aftershows that could be 14 if I am lucky! Eye like pretty things, and u're just as pretty as u can b...

About a week or so ago I'm sure I was suffering from complete exhaustion on account of getting up at 4am on the Friday, to go to work. Then my mate would drive us up to the O2 from Dorset, seeing the show and aftershow, my mate driving back to Dorset at reckless speeds so I could go straight into work. Same on the Saturday, incl working, show + aftershow, back to Dorset, finally getting to bed around 52 hrs later Repeat the above 3 Fri/Sat in a row it's no wonder I got ill! But I am still going, feel back to 100% health and not missed a beat After doing the marathon 27 shows/aftershows in 28 days back in March 1995 I always said I would never do that again. That it would kill me, etc, etc. Well you know the old saying "never say never"! Have I become at all jaded with the shows/aftershows since August 1st? Folks, I think we have a winner. Tickets for all 21 shows and aftershows. Onecrush I salute you.
It's when I hear about fans like you, SquirrelMeat, who has seen Prince 107 times in total, unique and Irishwolfhound, that I begin to realize what it means to be a hardcore fan. Mind you I think the tickets being priced at £31.21 has made it easier to attend multiple shows. onecrush said: ace1967 said: Has anyone out there bought tickets and attended all 21 shows. I've been to six main shows so far (3rd, 7th, 14th, 28th and 1st) + the aftershow on the 28th (phenomenal) which compared to some people on here is nothing - and to think my family and friends say IM obssessed!
Im going to as many of the remaining aftershows as possible and I already have tickets for the 21st (main and aftershow). And of course I cant forget THE big event - the orgers party at the holiday inn express on the 21st! And I was lucky enough to go to the Minneapolis show on 07.07.07. What a summer its been. The weather has been shit, ive had no money thanks to Prince (travelling from Brighton for the concerts and often paying for other people's tickets) but I will never forget it. OH FONKY LONDON...

i have seen the following:
Nude Tour 1990 Cork Diamond & Pearls 1992 Dublin The Gold Tour 1995 Dublin Point Depot both shows, second show was one of the best i was ever at, as Pajoe has also pointed out Then there was a 12 yr gap Earth Tour 2007: 24th + aftershow 25th 28th couldnt make the aftershow, we were with the car and my brother had to work early next morning:-x 31st + aftershow 1st + aftershow I have also seen Maceo Parker live 3 times in Vienna, 2001,2003 & 2004, plus he stayed last January in the hotel I was working in, but as my luck ran I had to go to a meeting in Munich that weekend I also saw John Blackwell live in 2005 in Vienna, small place with about 500 people, met him briefly after the gig for about 5 mins I hope to maybe see some more shows from the earth tour, but I have to return to Germany Wednesday, was actually supposed to go back last thursday, but my brother talked me into staying , he has already started trying to convince me to stay till next Monday As for what was the best of the earth shows, well that would be hard to pin down, they all had their special moments, but i guess this weekend (31st + 1st) reaches leveleleven, 48 hours non stop going on 3 hours sleep, I know exactly how Onecrush feels, and i imagine there are many right now feeling just the same after this weekend If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.
