Afetrshow FAQ

Hi!

I havn't been to an aftershow yet and I'm seriously considering going to one tonight.

I live near Heathrow airport and I'm a girl on my own so my worry is getting home safely!

What time does the aftershow usually end in Indigo? And are there any forms of public transport still running at that time, say a night bus?

I'm thinking if I can somehow get to Oxford Street I can get a nightbus to my neck of the woods...

Do you think its still worth me going to the aftershow?

Thanks guys, I'd be lost without you!

Another thing - I've only recently moved to London so I'm not very London wise yet! I'm living in a place called Hayes..

Afetrshow FAQ

hey there smile

i've got a very good feeling about tonight's aftershow me'self...me and my girlfriend have a pretty good hit ratio so far, too... smile

the aftershow, depending upon what happens tends to run till about 3-4. you can get a bus right from north greenwich station outside to holborn if that's any good? the 188. the bus is pretty full with people but as it just goes to holborn you might have a bit of a stroll at that time of night/morning...as always in these situations i'd say...as a lady, be careful though. sure there's not anyone who wants to go with you?

but yeah, all in all it's abit of a pain in the ass to get home. that said, i don't think i'll be talking about the busride home when i bounce my grandkids on my knee in decades to come and tell them about the prince aftershow i saw smile

take it easy

Basically its not going to be easy to get home at all if you do the aftershow. Holborn is still a bit of a walk from the picadilly area where the nightbus out to the Hayes area leaves from. If you do try and do this its gonna take you till the morning i reckon.

Have you thought about staying in a hotel nearby instead.

Also if you put out a request on here you may find a fellow orger willing to go with you or give you a lift somewhere helpful etc.

Get the Thames Clipper to The London Eye after the show, walk across Hungerford Bridge and you're at Trafalgar Square and you can probably get a night bus from there (most nightbuses end up at Trafalgar Square somewhere on their route).

The 188 to Holborn would be perfect for you and you wouldnt have to walk the mile and a bit to the west end for another bus. You catch the NightBus N207 straight to Hayes from Holborn.

I would have to take the same route myself if I do eventually get to an Aftershow biggrin

No, I'm working tonight. The next show I have a ticket for is the 21st September, but I may try to make the aftershow on Thursday 13th... not sure yet.
