Help! Need advice about taxi

Since this will be my first time at the O2 tomorrow, I don't know the best way to get a taxi (going to the aftershow).

Must I call one before the gig or after? Where? Which company? Any advice is welcome...

the aftershow venue "indigo2" is inside "the o2" (formerly the millenium dome). you will probably see it before you go to the main arena. you just walk to it

for a taxi on the way home, if you are staying at a hotel i suggest get a taxi number from them and call it when you leave the indigo2 at 2.30am or whatever and arrange to meet them on millenium way outside the venue/tube station

slaphead

If you need to get back into central London the Thames clipper is the best way. It runs every 30 min until 4.30to London bridge & Waterloo. It costs £4 each way & takes about 20 minutes.

Thank you guys.

In fact, I'm staying at Ibis Excel, so Thames Clipper won't be useful for me.

Thanks unique, you're unique... (ok, poor joke but I'm tired...)

Dont worry one little bit. By the exit just inside the O2 there is a taxi stand / kiosk. You pay there and then and there is a private car waiting outside. Pretty cheap too.

don't use the o2 taxi kiosk unless you like to wait a long time and pay more for the priviledge. your hotel will give you a number, ring it as soon as you are out the indigo as they will take a few mins to arrive, at which time walk to millenium way outside the tube station and wait for the taxi. it will be cheaper and much quicker. you can literally wait in the taxi line and then be told they are fully booked up and you are back to square one
